The only thing I don't understand is how you can use the same garbage bags over and over again. Don't you have to use some garbage bags to take some garbage outside to be picked up? Unless you compost all your garbage but I would imagine there's something that you wouldn't be able to compost? I use all solar lights at night indoors also. Doesn't cost anything. 😊 Most of the furniture I've gotten from Craigslist free. Sometimes people give away the most beautiful things! I bought some off-brand laundry detergent from Dollar Tree. It does absolutely nothing to clean my clothes. Next time I'll try either a Walmart or ShopRite brand. I have no doubt it'll be 100% better because this one from Dollar tree was horrendous! I was actually very surprised by this because most of the things I get from Dollar tree are fantastic!

All toothpaste is the same, cheap or expensive. It’s really the act of brushing that cleans your teeth. A pea sized bit of toothpaste is good but I just smear along the brush head enough so you can see it’s there and I’m good to go. If I don’t feel like my teeth are clean enough after that, I use a bit of bicarb Soda and I’m done. Good tips PP, you’ve pony eyes a lot to where else I can save/cut back

Black out curtains, using them since I could remember.
Small fridge check
Home made Iced tea, not coffee, check.
Clover lawn, not turf. Very low maintenance and it helps pollinators. Check.
Clothes shop only for special occasions.
Water, one of the best ways to save money.
Diluting liquid soaps adding a minimal 1/4 of water to it. Shampoo, dish and laundry detergents. Laundry detergent lasts me around 6 months. Shampoo/conditioner twice a week. 6 months.
I use a dish washer, at least every other day because I absolutely hate doing dishes.
And if you do, like me, never use the pods. Those things are flipping expensive. Dry powder works just as well, and it won't "break the dishwasher". That's only if you put too much in or don't wait for the cycle to end.
All my lights outside are solar, and yet have to master bringing it inside.
I'm getting there.

I use a foil pan from the DT on "dry stuff" and I only get rid of it when I get stinky or greasy stuff on it. I get dozens of uses before I toss it. I opened some oatmeal today and it's regular not quick cook ( it was bogo and quick cook wasn't lol ) so I will put it in my little Oscar food processor ( I've had it 37 years lol ) and pulverize the oats and make them quick cook. I also only fill the bowl 1/3 full since my hubbaroo is always in a hurry in the morning. I figure his breakfast is less than a dollar and his lunches are around $3. I eek out cheap suppers too.
