Best tip for me was about blocking the drainage canal. I've been using eye drops for years (apparently incorrectly which may be why nothing has been working for my dry eye condition). I've recently started developing a small bulge in that canal area. Curious to see if blocking will make it go away. Thanks for the tutorial! :)

What I don’t get is that I’ve spend about $200 in co-pays visiting an ophthalmologist and I have had an eye infection for over a month. How has no one told me this!? I’ve been dealing with the gross taste of these steroid drops and hating every dose 4x a day. Thank you so much for this video.

More simple method: Look into mirror sideways and put drop in opposite eye from the far side with head tilted up slightly. Super easy, works every time.

Thera tears or systane are real good drops. Bio true is good too.

I wash my hands first and wash face and eye lid area in tea tree oil soap. Then dry face and use drops. Feels great. Try it and see. I also sometimes use a sterile gauze and put a lot of witch hazel on it and wipe eyes and lids well..may sting a min but it helps a lot. Always use clean hands with eye care.

Always use a reputable type drop. Some are found to be contaminated.

I've always been told to put them in the inside corner of eye. Keep eyes closed about min& good to go.

I appreciated all the info, especially the closed eye and to wait 5 to 10 minutes between mulitiple drops. I'm gonna have to use 2 meds 4x a day before cataract surgery about a week before I'm scheduled. This has been very helpful and I'm keeping it in my history for review. God bless you!

Thank you. I've been using 2 different glaucoma drops for 3 yrs and STILL have trouble getting just ine drop in each eye. Will try what I saw here. This month,I just made it with one vial to the day I ciuld refill. They ain't cheap without insurance to pay.

I really don't know why all doctors make a science of this. Yes, it is more than unpleasant to move down your lower eyelid and to put a drop DIRECTLY in your eye. I always do this thing the easiest way: I close my eyes, and I put a drop in the corner of my eye, close to my nose. Then I open my eye and the liquid just goes to the outside, that is, in my eye. End of story.

Do eye drops really help. Havent tried them yet. I might have the worse case of dry eye. Burning pain and light sensitivity is terrible and it feels like a beach in my eyes

This whole time I thought eye drops were useless for me but in the end no one had taught me how to use them properly.. I watched this video yesterday and used my allergic prescription drops through today as recommended and they’ve actually been helping instead of feeling like they’re doing nothing. I can’t believe no one had taught me so far how to use eye drops even though I have dry eyes
