Brilliant
ОтветитьBrillant. My new coach insists on developping such backhand technique and you tips add crucial precision on the whole process.
Thanks a lot.
You know what you're talking about.
It is actually like left handed forehand with the help of right hand just to stabilize movement and when impact the ball.
ОтветитьLeft hand wrist extended or neutral?
ОтветитьAmazing teacher!
ОтветитьAll the credits to you mate! Well explained, great examples, in-depth instructions. Would recommend this coach to anyone who wants to enhance his/her game. Keep it up! 😉(tennis coach & amateur player)

ОтветитьGet Ahead in Tennis with Killer Volley Techniques. Great Video! Thanks for sharing this one.
Ответить@grantvanderhayde are you doing to have a detailed lesson on your website as you do for a forehand?
ОтветитьOkay, this tennis backhand tutorial is great and all, but I tried it and ended up hitting the ball into a different zip code! Time to call NASA, I'm serving for space exploration now! 🚀🎾 😄
ОтветитьAlways had issues with backhanded shots. Great video!! SAVED!

ОтветитьAre you going to do a detailed lesson for backhand on website like you have for forehand ?
Ответитьawesome analysis and explanation! 👍👍
ОтветитьThank you so much ı will try this ❤️
ОтветитьGood Evening Grant, I have a question on the backhand can my dominant arm have a little bend and should you keep the racquet close to my body I am only asking because my coach told me to keep the racquet close to your body; lastly can I send a video of my two-handed backhand if so how would I go about sending it?
ОтветитьOr you can hit the backhand like Kyrgios and simplify it.
ОтветитьGrant! Great video broskie, I am no fashionista, think it may be time to leave that same long sleeve t-shirt that has mold on it away 🤣
ОтветитьReally good lesson, love how you say why you should do things and point out variations. The first stage of acceleration where the arms pull up was something I hadn't considered, and the difference in follow thru while obvious if you think about it also helpful to clarify.
ОтветитьHey coach. One odd thing I have discovered: if you want to improve how to hit your one-handed backhand, train to hit the two-hander. The two-hander requires so much more body turn and ball focus that it trains you to avoid the bad-form cheats that you can sort of get away with, some of the time, with the one-hander. I'm much more consistent and I have much better form with my one-hander in matches if I spend part of my training time on the two-hander. I'm a good 4.0 but definitely not a 4.5, if that matters.
Ответитьgreat great analysis... would you consider a bent left arm at contact as a mistake in every case?
