Building a Tikka T3 Lite | Scope This Gun

This sub 8 pounds with the scope?

I want to build my tikka t3x also from a 243 to a 6.5 creedmor my mpr is pretty good but it’s big heavy n bulky. Also cannot decide to just buy a barrel and stock and throw it or have Oregon mountain rifle build it because it’ll be about the same price. But than I can buy a ridgeline fft that should be nearly identical in build? I’m thinking a ag carbon stock and proof or Oregon barrel on it also. Buy a new gun or have a custom built? Lol

What size rings for a vortex Diamondback tactical 4-16 FFP? Rifle is a tikka t3x hunter

Love the setup, pricey build easily as expensive as my Blaser. I have a Tikka T3X Supervarmint in 25-06 that I rarely use and was thinking along the same lines for stalking out to 400m, my thoughts were 6.5x55SE chamber (long throat) with a 20" Proof barrel.

Are those talley master scope rings?

I could throw a chubby pregnant bird through the gap between the scope and the barrel. 😄😁😆😅🤣😂

Considering 9 Tikka T3 Lite builds in the next couple years (30-06 AI, 7 mm PRC, 300 WSM, 308, 7-08 AI, 6.5 PRC, 6 mm Creedmoor, 300 HAM’R and 22 Creedmoor).

Planning on purchasing Proof research Sendero barrels, AG Composit stocks, competition bolt arm and knobs, 20 MOA pick rail for mounting scope and Arca rail for bottom & front of stock.

Any other suggestions?

I’d like to see a lpvo on a lever gun like a marlin 30-30. It would be great in the brush, a person would be able to squeeze out what little distance capability the tried and true handy lever gun has.

What kind of range are you comfortable with on that setup?

Would I be able to put a Vortex cantilever mount on one of these? It's designed for picatinny but looks like it should fit

Have this same scope (moa) mounted on a Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT in 6.5 Creedmoor. The goal was lightweight and this scope matched perfectly.

I just built my Tikka T3 lite 7mm Mag last week! Helix 6 Precision carbon barrel, Mesa precision carbon stock, new bolt handle and topped it of with a Viper PST 3-15! Just about the same build which is funny to see. Great video guys!

I would like to see you show an Eastern Woods rifle that is handy with a silencer on it and with a really good, light scope.
