Good playing as always but very muddy sound. Not the ideal amp / pedals setup to showcase a guitar with such a high-end tone-woods 🙄

Does Michael plan ahead on what he plays to demo gear? I can see why he chose Zeppelin for this LP but when he does the looper pedal and just seems to improv for other guitars, does he have an idea on what to do or is it just off the cuff playing? Does he always do it in one take?

I may or may not be the most observant type. But I think Lemmo likes Van Halen. Can we blame him? Nope. Beautiful burst!

what time of day do these normally get filmed? i am (finally) going to get the chance to go to Norms in a few weeks and would love to catch one of these recordings!

I saw Led Zeppelin at Madison Square Garden and they opened with the Immigrant Song, Lemmo’s first song, and it brought back memories.

Its the carve you guys!!!
Its almost like you could get cut on the binding the carve is soo deep and comes all the way to the sides.
That is the real les paul carve .
Not some semiflattop .

Why is the Gibson logo and the Les Paul logo so high up the headstock? Is that a Murphy lab thing? That's not how these logo's were aligned back in 59 is it?

I'm not into Les Pauls but when they look that good even I am tempted. And of course great playing as always.

It’s uglier than hell, they should leave the flame tops to PRS, but damn it sounds amazing and I normally hate how Les Pauls sound

Absolutely stunning, both guitar and performance. I felt Michael didn’t want to stop playing.

I’m looking for live LZ where they actually sound good. I’m glad I heard the albums first, instead of hearing them live, or I would have never listened to them again. Plant’s voice is HORRIBLE live, and Jimmy seems off. I love them still, but looking for and finding GOOD live recordings of their music is HARD!!

Something about that neck pick up with that amp sounded very washy maybe it’s just the reverb or something. Beautiful top and color.

i know at norms they don't read the commits sham. but it be sweet if they would show and play some of them supro guitars, there beautiful instermnest. i guess they really don't care them or can't play them
