IS DOLBY ATMOS THE FUTURE OF MIXING?

Atmos seems to make more sense for film and game audio imo

Of course it’s not because it will NEVER translate properly in consumer world. Ordinary people are NOT gonna spend 5k for a LOW budget atmos setup that sounds like shit…

ah ATMOS reminds me of 3d tvs..

JESUS that's the biggest bass I've probably ever heard the it comes in. Probbly gotta be a dinger I'm guessin', with that much tone. Not sure else can produce that much "note" at that tuning, other than maybe a Quake. Usually it's damn near all overtones at that freq., but whatever that bass is must have an outrageous scale length and set of strings on it

Es algo bueno para la producción musical, ademas con sus normas LUFS se evita el "Loudness War". El ecosistema estéreo en algún momento será algo del pasado tal como lo es el sistema "mono" en estos días.

Atmos seems more cinematic than musical. I auditioned an ATC atmos system and wasn’t too impressed. And we are talking a $150k + system at Vintage King. Maybe it wasn’t setup properly… (no Trinnov)

It's cool, but it sounds like ASS on apple spatial via airpods 3rd gen lol That was a great episode of NTM, however. I am currently looking into certification. Cheers!
