Using morningstar/flail dual wielding is best. You still do some damage if you miss
ОтветитьWhy Dex Over STR for melee?
ОтветитьMinsc with 10 strength just feels wrong :P
ОтветитьI wonder if Berserker Barbarian fits better for Minsk 🤔
ОтветитьLightfoot Halfling: Lucky, brave, and naturally stealthy.
Sorcerer at 1st level: Charisma and constitution saving throw proficiencies. Dagger, Light Crossbow and Quarterstaff proficiencies.
Gloom Stalker 8 (Heavy Armour): Iron Mind grants intelligence, and wisdom saving throw proficiencies. Immunity to difficult terrain, two feats.
|
Fighting style: Defence, +1 AC while wearing armour.
Bard, College of Swords 3 (Melee flourish): Scimitars, and medium armour.
|
Fighting style: Two-Weapon Fighting. +1 ac off hand dagger like cold snap.
|
Wondrous Gloves: +1 ac, extra flourish.
Fey Semblance Amulet: Grants the equivalent of Gnome Cunning. Advantage on int, wis, and charisma saving throws.
Transmuter's Stone: Advantage on constitution saving throws.
Dwarven Splintmail: 19 AC, +1 strength checks and saving throws, -1 piercing damage, +2 constitution (16-18). Disadvantage on stealth and advantage on stealth may grant neutral stealth by cancelling each other.

Hireling warding bond, on gold dwarf, with toughness and barbarian multiclass.
WTF! Spoilers in the opening screen. I came to watch your video because I want to start a run and I haven't gone far into the game. Now you come and show me Minks and Boo?! F*** u!
ОтветитьThanks for the video - looking to make a dual wielding mercenary kinda character
I'm very new to BG3 as well as 5e
Can someone explain why Heavy Armor is needed if we're going 20Dex?
It feels as though the +5 bonus would ultimately negate the difference, without the disadvantage on Stealth rolls?
Doesn't heavy armor hamper your use of dexterity?
ОтветитьI imagine you're taking ranger for the magic buffs and you plan to use the armor of agility. IT's quality, BUT I still think Fighter/Rogue are better since Fighter champion gets the crit threat increase and there are a couple items that stack crit threat on top of that. I also think if you want a strength-based dual wielder instead of a dex one, fighter is a must since you can start with heavy armor and possibly take heavy armor master for the damage mitigation.
ОтветитьBut what to choose if you want to this build with beastmaster and is it also possible to do it without ranger knight?
Ответить5 gloom stalker, 5 thief, 2 spore druid, is what i run with my dark urge character. The cloack that gives you invisibility when you kill an enemy makes this build a blast to play!
Ответитьmy gao ranger focus on str and con
Ответитьfor 3 ranger suclass this is how I feel
hunter + thief = fighter build (can range/can melee)
Gloom Stalker + assassin = stealth build (range > melee)
beast master lv12 build (multi-class no meaning)
I finished the game as Lone wolf (solo) on Tactician with similar build 5 rogue (thief) 5 ranger and 2 Paladin. The burst damage is insane one shotted the most bosses with Luck of the far realm and smites.
p.s. Getting Bhaalist Armour literally doubles your damage as melee character.
Why would you use heavy armor on 20 dex character instead of medium armor with no dex AC bonus limitations? Also I noticed that heavy armor gives you disadvantage on stealth checks, while medium does not(which is critical in this build). Am I missing something? Pls explain it, cause I feel confused and I wanna understand the game mechanics better, ty :)
ОтветитьNo more diablo immortal content?
ОтветитьDual weilding isnt very good in D&D 5th ed. You are way better of using great weapon or a sheild.
ОтветитьIn Baldurs Gate there is a suit of medium armour that is AC17, you can add your full dex to it and it does not impose disadvantage to stealth.(AC22). Also I think if you started the built with one level of Rogue at first level you start with more skills. One of my favourite feats is magic initiate, you can have find familiar on any character or an extra first level spell and two cantrips. I wish the game gave you the option of the variant human with a feat at first level, magic initiate would be my choice almost every time. Love all the videos, they are a big help.
ОтветитьHmm do you think going assassin/gloomstalker would be good for the amount of attacks you get? my concern with going heavy armor is stealth checks but you seemed to be doing fine i also would only like to use daggers they seem sick.
ОтветитьIk alot of ppl like the assasin type build gloomstalker/fighter/assassin but i did somthn different 6 battlemaster/3 thief/3 hunter. Hunter for colossal slayer and hunters mark, thief for bonus action and battlemaster for its fighting maneuvers and asi. I think you can be more versatile with this if you want a more up front approach or range.
ОтветитьHow do you have 3 bonus actions?
ОтветитьHey Lida if you get a chance go check out the training dummy/DPS meter in DI. Absolutely love it and thinking you might as well. Cheers!
ОтветитьWill you be posting new videos about Diablo Immortal? And sorry for adding this question on a Baldur's gate video
ОтветитьFun build. Makes me want to make YET another character, name them Arathorn since I'm a Tolkien geek, and play through Act 1 again.
