Just started trying this this works great I'm using spitfire. a lot of great free sounding realistic stuff here, Thank you Kenny
ОтветитьI love this
ОтветитьVery cool process, Kenny!
Is there a way to apply a midi chord to something like the Spitfire BBC Discovery VST? (Unless I’m missing a setting) Each instrument is on a separate track. But if I wanted to create a string quartet or something that has a different instrument play a note in a chord, is there a way to send a note to a track?
I guess that would probably just get really messy fairly quickly. Maybe you know a trick or a VST that helps with that.
Thanks for the walkthrough!
I downloaded the chord pack and mine are spaced out. Like there is a beat or two in between each chord. It doesn't play continuously like this video. I didn't do anything different from the video on downloading, is it just updated that way?
Ответитьthank you for your work, I enjoyed watching each of your videos and learned a lot thanks to you.
ОтветитьThis response was written with pro-level words. Thanks for the great video 🙂
ОтветитьIm not trying to be mean, but are you gay? I like you 😊
ОтветитьHi Kenny,
Thank you so much. Could you please do a tutorial on how to use Ripchord vst in reaper. 🙂🙂
So cool
ОтветитьThank you, great episode.
ОтветитьHow to "strum" any written chords?
ОтветитьYou said its free but the thruth its not ...
Ответитьyes , may be , but i think Chord gun is better to use...
ОтветитьThe day I found Kenny was the day I began to understand Reaper.
Thanks for everything, Kenny!
how do you get that drum track to sound so awesome and huge
Ответитьokey
ОтветитьOH MY WORD, I'M BLOWN AWAY... I feel like I've been sleeping on reaper for years now... Thank you for your work
ОтветитьWish Reaper has some inbuilt chord progression or some script to do ..only in python chorder possible
ОтветитьGreat job Kenny! Too many people trying to sell "Pro level" chord packs and it's not on. Video was clear and concise as always. Thanks :)
Ответитьkenny good channel - but - turn the bloody lights down you look like god ....
ОтветитьThis channel helps to restore my often waning faith in humanity. Thanks yet again man.
ОтветитьThat was a very graceful takedown of we-all-know-who :)
ОтветитьEverytime I watched your videos, I always learned something!
ОтветитьAmazing .. another killer vid ... as I plan to start writing my own music this is a great helper ... well done Kenny :)
ОтветитьIs there anybody who knows Reaper really well whom I could ask questions from time to time if I'm having trouble and get a response I would really appreciate it
Ответитьnice cap! the barcode is very stylish lol
ОтветитьNear as I can tell, the contents of the progressions file is all contained in the chords file, just organized differently. So you only have to download the free-midi-chords-20211125 file to get all the progressions too. The difference being in "chords", the progressions are in sub-folders by key, whereas with "progressions" all keys are in the same folder. Arguably the key-sorted folders is easier to work with, so I don't see a need to download the progressions file at all.
ОтветитьHi, this is Kenny Gioia, broadcasting direct from my glowing recording studio in heaven
Ответитьur videos are getting SICK day by day...keep it up
ОтветитьThese are is some righteous tips! Thanks Kenny. You da man!
ОтветитьAnother brilliant video lesson ..... useful free material. Thanks Kenny!!!
ОтветитьC̶l̶a̶p̶t̶o̶n̶ KENNY is GOD
ОтветитьReminds me of the annoying commercials on u2oob for example the red head white guy music producer talking wigger style " chord packs? Nah I don't use chord packs "
ОтветитьThank you Kenny 👏👏👏🙏
ОтветитьI'm sure you can guess which advertiser appeared in front of this video trying to sell me their Professional Midi Chord Pack... ugh.
ОтветитьI do remember that there is the ChordGun plugin in Reaper. What for should we need chord packs, having the ChordGun? Progressions may be useful though (but not for me, for instance, because for me the point of writing songs is in creating custom chord progressions that fit your melodies)
ОтветитьBut are they "pro-level chords" though?!?
ОтветитьLiterally just got a Unison Midi Chord Pack ad on this video.
ОтветитьYes, thanks once again Kenny...just what I needed!
ОтветитьThanks Kenny for another great little tutorial - and thanks for user Idrolez for making the packs available to the community!
ОтветитьAmazing resource, thanks for sharing. I've been looking for a good way to thicken some of my chord sauces and this really helped! I've been devouring your videos the past month and a half, so grateful for all you do.
ОтветитьThanks for the video, as well as for your other great videos.
But I have a question: why is there no orderly REAPER TRACK CHORD like in CUBASE?
Thank you
Many thanks Kenny.
ОтветитьAnother gem, thanks Kenny.
