What gems in the Trigger on wand for? Or how does it work? I was thinking it would be so you can use contagion and ED but I have my ED on my 5L chest and Contagion on a 4L helmet... am I missing something?

Which jewel should I pick in Act 2, or does it even matter?

I killed today maven with this build! was pretty fun. I had a lot to learn since i came back from Incursion but this was really helpful! Thanks for putting this together.

That last part about "good to reach t10 maps" was not inspiring at all... In delirium I did 40/40 with EDC, reached 13k ES, but that was back when Glancing Blows could be easily obtained via a Kiloava jewel. I still have the jewel in standard tho, they dont roll that mod anymore... anyway EDC max block atm costs more skill points to do now (bcuz you have to reachGB, whis is in a sh*t spot for trickster) which ends up coating you damage, plus GB itself got nerfed...

Hello people, i'm trying to follow this build, and i'm in transition point from life to CI. I noticed that on POB Ziz has 90% physical dmg reduction, and i can't figure out where is comming from. Is anyone using this build struggling with this issue?

With a restless ward you can get very respectable amounts of ES on a life build and have easy endurance and frenzy uptime. Can't recommend that chest enough!

random qu estion. so what gems are in the weapon? if both essence drain is 6 = so chest, contagion is 4 = so most None weapon.
Are the weapons not relevant to the gems in them?

Im new! On the skills setup part, where do I actually insert the gems you have presented? In a weapon? Shield? I dont understand.

Also, what does the value in parentheses mean in "B: 4(8)-12 contagion" ? Should I read that text as "from level 4 (or 8?) until 12"?

3 specific questions: (im just trying to rebuild this char because im not so into poe, that i can build my own char). Why do i need skitterbots, why do i need the shieldcharge gem setup and how can i increase my single target dmg. i cannot even kill a concourer within 5 minutes. And i have the same gear, as you have zizaran. on "gearswap" but with clusters. Pls help me anyone. my whole build is done, i cant farm endgame, or t14 plus, without taking 5 mins for 1 boss

Do you think the new unique, Olesya's Delight can work into the build and give it more single target damage?

Do you switch before or after you have aquired the cluster jewels? And also, how hard are those to get?

Playing ES/Contagion makes me nervous about merciless difficulty Rituals when you have so little space to move around and dodge stuff. I'm playing on Witch and I'm considering restarting for the Shadows better survival rate.

Hey Zizaran, in the Items Early Game Setup, why do you not stack evasion on all your recommended gear? Should I be prioritizing Energy Shield to get ready for the CI Switch?

So when do I actually switch to CI? I just beat the campaign but I'm not sure what to do now. Im lvl 73 but I haven't managed to get a 6 link yet like the PoB says. Not sure how to get one. I play on Xbox so prices are crazy expensive

So providing some feedback on this build guide and PoB, and I am a fairly new player (2-3 seasons). The PoB and build video are kind of all over the place and really hard to follow. There's a lot of what I am guessing is assumed knowledge to make this stuff work that simply has me lost. You show a build in the video that doesn't exist in the PoB, it's some combination of the notes section and various thrown together line items that are mixed with other variations of the build.

The skills to items setup is just a nightmare as well with items showing slot colors that don't match any of the skill builds, and no indication of what the core build should be at different stages of the game past level 31. I also have no idea how to craft some of these 'lol so easy' items and would strongly recommend including a very basic 'how to make this' section.

Overall I would pick a build, film it with the most common setup, then build the PoB to that exact build. Notes are great for adding hints to switch things around, but they need to be clearly marked as alternatives for niche use, not mixed in with the core build. I appreciate the work that goes into something like this, but I literally just bought a bunch of items to enter the 'end game' portion of the build and I am looking at a bag of gems with no clue what I should be using now. It feels like I should have some knowledge of the game that I don't have to understand this build guide, which makes it very difficult to use as a guide.

Am i the only one who is completly confused? I'm trying to get into PoE but every guide i find don't hold my hand from level one and up as i''d like it to :( I have no clue what i am dooing and everytime i ask my mates for help they tell me to go find a guide...

Doesn't matter what build guide I try, I just hit a brick wall when I start maps, even white maps destroy me. I'm not even surviving level 1 maps.

I'm pretty new, is there a spot in POB that tells you what bandit buff you took or the 2 additional skill points for this build?

Hey ziz, the life tree take the shield cluster, yet the item you recommend in off-hand is a wand.

I want to like this game, but when I think about getting into it, I watch a "starter" guide like this, and become turned off quickly. With all the insane terminology that could be mistaken for another language, it seems to be a game for an extremely specific type of min/max gamer. Even then, it appears you only play each season for three months and have to start a new character and lose all your gold and items (I understand it goes to a side mode in the game, but the gamers I meet in a season don't want to play this side mode with me...like EVER).Hopefully Diablo 4 or Path of Exile 2 will come up with a solution to keep content fresh for the hardcore gamers that play dozens of hours/week, but keep it simple for casuals who only play a few hours/week. So sick of games that use the unimaginative seasons/ battle pass mechanics.

Also, I do not like using resources outside of the game to have to learn or play the game. At the very least have a trade/auction house in the game.

Good video though Zizz, I just can't devote time to POE despite how much I want to. I've tried watching beginner guides, but they seem to be hours long and still use so much statistical vocabulary that it turns me off as well. I love mathematical statistics, just don't want a video game that throws it all over my face every second lol.
