14 years later, the technique still works in Sony Vegas. Gotta love it.
ОтветитьThank you sir.
Ответитьinteresting technique, i've seen the multiple camera angle view one where you can use the built in feature for cutting between different camera angles after syncing, but this can be used in place of that in certain situations where a nice fade effect is desired, or where you just wanna be simple and only have a couple video tracks. i will give it a try. thanks! :)
ОтветитьHello, its looks so cool and i know my question is stupid but i can edit one video with pictures and music and words with this program right? I mean its not only for multitasking editting right? Please help i want to make my videos a little bit better. Thank you btw for the video.
ОтветитьI have Sony Movie studio 14. After connecting clips, the clips afterwards play super slow. Now sure what im doing wrong.
ОтветитьGood tip. But is it possible in this case to choose type of transitions between videos? I mean, transitions, which would look not just like fade-in and fade-out, but like some more complex effects?
ОтветитьGreat tutorial! Very helpful.
ОтветитьJust what I needed. Thanks very much for taking the time to put this up. Even though it was in 2008 it still helps.
Ответитьthank you, this helped a lot :) keep up the good work!
ОтветитьThank you, bro!
ОтветитьHey, can I just confirm that "Sony Movie Studio HD: Platinum Suite 12" is able to edit multiple video layers?
(Have a background image, and add a video over that layer, covering say 1/4 of the screen?)
THANK YOU BILL!
Ответитьnice voice and thanks
ОтветитьThank God for you. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Where do I send the check for your wonderful information?!!!!!
ОтветитьBill,
If each of the video tracks has its own audio that you might want to use at certain points do you have to separately go through the same process with the audio tracks using an audio envelope ?
Thanks! Greetings from Buenos Aires.
Ответитьcool video
great video you should make more.
I really enjoyed your great video
Hello Bill, Somehow I can't move the points while i want to move the whole tracks with the selection tool. The envelopes together with the points just stick at the same place while i can move the video tracks. I have no idea how I can fix this. I guess something happened with my settings, but I have no idea. I hope you can help me with this issue. Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьHello Bill,
Excellent tutorial, I just started with movie studio 12 and got it for the extra tracks.
In your edit you show no audio tracks did you delete them or just hide them?
I have a 5 camera edit on the go right now and cannot get the double points to drag down for some reason, do you have any suggestions.
Best regards Martyn from UK.
Please help, I simply want to be able to zoom in the same amount on two different tracks at the same time. How can I do this easily? I cannot find any tutorials on this! Using Sony Vegas
ОтветитьThank you! I haven't done this in awhile and forgot what it was called and how to toggle it.
ОтветитьGood explanation. This is helpful for mi. Sorry my bad english and thanks.
ОтветитьThanks! This really helped :D
Ответитьthank you so much!really helpful!
ОтветитьWow, great post, just what I was trying to figure out. Thanks!
ОтветитьAwesome instruction. Going to go try it now.
ОтветитьThanks man, that helped me a lot!
Ответитьthank you ... I was searching this information in several tutorials and forums
ОтветитьGood info, but the multi-video track editing I would like to do is cuts and time changes. I want to be able to place a cut on my main footage and have all overlay video tracks cut at the same point
Ответитьthank you, found this video helpful
ОтветитьThank you so very much!! You've just saved me so much time! It was very generous of you to put up this video!
ОтветитьYou can change the track and envelope colors using 'options', 'preferences', 'display'.
ОтветитьAwesome tips and vids for a newbie to Vegas, saved me hours maybe days, of frustration. Quick question, is is possible to change the "purple" line color we are using to double clik and drop? I am always losing mine in the background.
ОтветитьThank You for all your videos!!!!
ОтветитьTHAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNKKKKKKKK YOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUU
ОтветитьI knew there had to be an easier way than cutting out the top level. Thanks so much for this tutorial. Maybe I'm missing something but is composite level needed on the bottom track? That's probably just going to be always on right?
ОтветитьTo turn off the automatic resizing when you delete objects, turn off 'auto ripple'. It is one of the icons in the top tool bar.
Ответитьi like this but i also like to cut and delete i now have vegas 11 and when i cut and delete it slides to the left closing the the gap how can i change that? please help
Ответитьthis works for NEWS
ОтветитьIf you have a multicamera shoot, with all cameras shooting the same thing but at different angles, the above method is much faster to edit than trying to assemble different cuts and paste them on the timeline.
ОтветитьWhat is the advantage/ disadvatage to this opposed to splits and useing either a fade or strait cut to make your transtions between tracks
ОтветитьHow do u do the audio or does it auto change
ОтветитьIt's pretty difficult to edit at 1024 X 768. I have my 24" monitor set to 1920 X 1200. Makes it a lot easier to see fine detail.
ОтветитьThanks BIll. I just did my first 3-cam edit, easy job, just a lecture event with audience shots but WOW, those little "composite level" icons are SMALL! they are only about 4 pixels square on my monitor 1024x768 windows 2000 lol!
ОтветитьI use camtasia to do screen capture.
