VIETNAM | Solo Backpacking | Ep3: Tam Coc, Hanoi, Ha Giang + Phu Quoc

I am an old farth and traveled these exotic destinations decades ago. Those days when I would be in the north of Vietnam with my GF we would bump into 1-2 other travelers. No more. It gave us some very special feeling of being adventurers. Nowadays it's all open territory and anyone can travel there. Perhaps thanks to these vlogs. Are their still unspoiled spots in this planet to discover...? Anyways, I like the vlogs of this guy...good stuff...

Pretty random and late question here, but how did you come across the road you cycled down at the start if you can remember?

I think this is one of your best videos. So many beautiful sights, great music choices, fun people - both native and fellow backpackers. Really makes me want to go back to Vietnam.
The whole part of biking around that glorious setting finding beer wherever you want is magnificent.

I appreciated so much both these Egypt and now this Vietnam series, Karl... I was in Vietnam 7 years ago and I am planning to revisit the country and get to check some of the spots I missed in a 4 week trip now in May (Egypt I will be going in June) and not enough to be impressed with the details and story telling skills (congrats!), you can´t imagine how surprise I was to watch my brother being part of your journey! I am Emmanuel´s brother and WTF! hahah so funny to watch him being part of that... anyhow. Thank you for your work and dedication! Beautiful content!

Cat Ba island is one of the best place in Vietnam and it have one of the rarest species in the world. You should come to visit sometime
