Love this! Thank you man. I just started in March and was trying to do all this fluff stuff and now I’m just cold calling trying to find people I can create relationships with to help them in their home decisions.

Is it possible for me to get into real estate part time at first? Like, can I do this part time until I can justify leaving my current job?

Your videos are full of good stuff. I am still taking my licensing course and hope to be licensed by end of summer. I already have someone waiting to mentor me on an amazing re max team here in CT. I hope it all works out. I’m retaining everything easily and I’m sure I’ll pass the first time. I’m not afraid of phone calls or talking to people face to face. As long as I’m knowledgeable and educated on what I’m doing, I’m actually looking forward to connecting with new people. I spent over 20 years serving and really miss interacting with people. Stuck in a small room alone at night for the last 5 years. It sucks. And the pay is terrible. I’m super positive about all of this and the support I’ll be getting makes it less scary. Thanks for the extra tips and advice! You seem to have this figured out. You make me feel like it’s really possible. Keep up the good work!

Problem is, even contacting people in my SOI is intimidating. I'm introverted AF. I'm just gonna have to find out how to get over that fear and talk to people. Even if it means sending a nice email or handwritten note. If I can pass the state exam on my first attempt (which I did) I can succeed at this.
