That time when Chip Foose peeled out in my Chevelle.

This is the video I took of Chip Foose peeling out in my 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS. The car was featured on Overhaulin' back in 2013 (season #6 I think).

If I remember correctly, we were driving around to get some footage for when the credits roll at the end of the episode. The drop spindles were too low and the tires would rub if you turned the wheel too far.

I mistakenly led us into a dead-end and we wouldn't have been able to turn the car around. Chip said something like, "Let me take it, I'll just spin it around". Like the pro he is, he spun the car around like he had done it a hundred times before (well, he probably has done it more than that).

Needless to say, it left an awesome memory that I am grateful for and I was thankful I had the presence of mind to get my phone out to record it. The whole drive was surreal, fun, and nerve-racking. I'll never forget it. Chip is definitely the real deal. His hospitality, and generosity are not just something for the cameras. What you see on TV, he's really like that! Thanks again Chip!
