This is Transformers. I don’t think I can express my thoughts any better. This is such a gorgeous love letter to the franchise. It warmed my soul to see Rad, Alexis, Carlos, Kicker, Coby, Lori, and Bud. In a lot of ways I grew up alongside them. The UT doesn’t get much love these days. Same with the JG1 guys and Animated. I loved Victory as a kid, as well as Animated. This is a perfect mix of the modern and old.

I have been with Transformers from the beginning. A tribute like this from fellow fans warms my heart. I have watched many times now and can't help but smile each time. Thank you, TRIGGER. ❤ Here's to 40 more.

I just realized that it's not only Rescue Bots, Rescue Bots: Acadamy or Bot-Bots that didn't show up in Japan but I'm pretty sure that it was also Netflix's Transformers: War For Cybertron: Siege, Earthrise and Kingdom that didn't show up there.

Everything transformers for the past 40yrs

Amazing

I think my favorite part really has to be the Optimal Optimus vs Dragon Megatron part. The dynamic stylization of how the Beast leaders are powered up via their predecessors' sparks. Here, just have them FUCKING FUSE to really lean into the anime-ness of this! And the sour yet tasty icing is the vision of their Beast Machines selves. And those designs never looked more badass than here!

And while I didn't grow up with Cybertron, there's still something so beautiful about Coby and Lori's loving smile at each other, knowing that they did get married. I dunno how that animation managed to convey so much love and happiness between them, but it did.

Third favorite part is the death montage. Prowl especially, from a sad "It's gonna be okay" smile to a confident "We win" smile.

Literally watching this makes me cry because knowing that the Transformers is 40 years old. And I'm only 26 currently. I've watched everything from the very beginning till now. As much as I can. Obviously. There's some parts. I'm missing but I know enough that this really speaks to the fandom in every single way. It hits everyone in the heart. Like a f**** rocket would and honestly. It makes me realize that the amount of voice actors that put their time and effort into creating these characters and making them come alive and making our childhood shine through even through our darkest hours. That 1 day when my kids grow up. They probably won't even know who Peter Colin is and to me. That makes me sad, but also this brings me joy. Seeing all of the continuities together like this

40 years and still...There's more then meets the Eye

I LOOOOVE how this movie pays respect for EVERY INCARNATION of Transformers. Be it some joke (Go) or some even bad ones (Energon, ROTB)

And as a fan who grew up on Bayverse films... It's was a nice touch to reference ONLY 2007 movie. Because it's was truly GOOD and masterpiece of CGI, unlike other films.
