Speaking of creepy Spongebob, there's the true story of Justine Johnson, a Michigan mother who was so high on drugs that she claims Spongebob literally turned to her and told her if she didn't kill her 3-year-old daughter he would kill her, and tragically she believed him.

The internet corrupted SpongeBob by making it out to be a psycho-drama about a short-tempered block of cheese

I remember seeing this one series of short Spongebob horror animations on Instagram once that i'm not sure how to find anymore cause i don't even remember what they were called, but essentially i think the premise what that some... Thing, some phenomenon, was causing the Bikini bottom residents to become horribly mutated monsters.

Sort of like Bikini bottom horror but i think it was it's own thing entirely since searching Bikini bottom horror doesn't seem to bring up what i'm thinking of. It used a combination of repurposed animations from the show and taking screenshots from the show and animating those to fit the narrative, the newly animated bits specifically i remember having this really uncanny and bizarre movement to them that's difficult to describe.

I specifically remember two moments from this animation. One that reuses an animation of Spongebob seeing a full moon and becoming a werewolf originally used as a sort of halloween bumper for Nick (similar things were done with the other shows airing at the time) And another where Krabs tries to fight one of these creatures off before a screenshot of Mr. Krabs having seen the aftermath of Spongebob dismantling the Krusty krab and literally falling to pieces, only edited to be a lot more gory and bloody, and at night.

I think there were also scenes where Sandy tried to defend herself but was ultimately killed as well, and a scene where various background fish are morphed into creatures as well, possibly using scenes from that one episode where Patrick makes his own song that causes the town to become upset. In the latter case, i think there was also a specific shot of a fish's head exploding from Patrick's music, repurposed here by adding a blood effect. If anyone knows what i'm talking about, feel free to comment what it is, if it's impossible to find for any reason then i suppose feel free to make this an official lost media case or whatever.

Edit: Actually i just saw a screenshot of Mr. Krabs sobbing on the floor but similarly fallen to pieces like in the strike episode, i don't remember what episode it's from but i think that actually THAT image was the image used to depict Mr. Krabs ripped to bloody pieces, and his tears were recolored to look like blood.

I remember when I was 16 I found this crazy video burned into my memory, it was an adult movie of SpongeBob called spongeknob square nuts

At the end of Vibing Leaf’s red mist video it was 3 of his upcoming creepypasta retake projects actually. The middle one was mickey mouse signified by his large round ears…i forgot who the other 2 were actually but yeah that was his intent lol

It’s still crazy to me a lot of official animators and storyboard artists draw stuff like that so that makes them the first rule 34 artist I guess

What I love is that the remake of Red Mist doesn’t treat it as just “ooooh le funny creepypasta” but as an actual thing that happened in the SpongeBob Universe. SpongeBob and Patrick genuinely lost their friend

So, about red mist, when I was a kid, first time I have seen this I was so scared, and wasn't even the true version, because there are some things that people Dont include like the scotzezt fish at the starts, now I love creepypasta! And want to see them all

You should’ve covered all the weird and almost disturbing YTPs made with SpongeBob like ones by AwfulFawful, Emplemon’s Mr. Krabs Unquenchable Bloodlust and many many more. They kept me up at night when I was twelve.
