the first few "carrier" looking ships you were passing by are LHD's. The carrier that you encounter later is a museum turned aircraft carrier called USS Midway in downtown San Diego. (was stationed in San Diego as Navy)

The airport you took off from is Brown Field. Don’t know if it is still used but it was the West coast helicopter base.

Just irritated at the fact they put the F-18 in the villa version of the game, with an arresting hook... but nowhere you can use it. So dumb.
