I know I’m a year late here but I finished the game last night and my unanswered question is this: When you find the real Týr in his actual cell, he has no idea that Odin was killed and that Asgard had fallen. It made sense at first… until it didn’t? Wouldn’t he have heard Gjallarhorn like EVERYONE ELSE did across all the realms when Kratos blew into it?? 😐 And he knows the prophecy of Ragnarok too… shouldn’t he have been confused like “Uh wth does that mean Ragnarok started without me leading the charge?” Or at least acknowledged it like “hmm I thought that’s what I heard…” Somebody help, this is driving me crazy.

There’s three people I think that blew the horn to summon the World Serpent and it’s either Baldur, Magni or Modi. Mostly Baldur because I think he was trying to get information out of him either about Kratos and Atreus or something/someone else.

I do think Sindri and Atreus could have a mirror to Freya and Kratos. Freya still does not forgive Kratos for killing Baldur and acknowledges that part of herself, but she knows that Kratos is not her enemy.

Sindri could and probably should always remember that Brok’s death was the cause of a kid so blinded by his quest to be a prophesied champion that he allowed Odin right into his home. But Brok’s last words to him were to move on and let go. If Brok can’t get an afterlife, the best way to honor his memory would be head his dying words.

I gotta say, this is probably my favorite game series. I've played them all since 1 and loved every step of the way. However...I hate the camera direction of Ragnarok sometimes haha it's so strange to me when a character just disappears out of frame instead of actually physically showing us their leaving or something. Small gripe but it makes me roll my eyes every time. I hope that they find a way to get comfortable with camera cuts in the sequels instead of sticking with this one shot thing the whole time.

It’s the mask from The Mask, the Jim Carrey movie. In the second movie (a really bad movie without Jim Carrey, it’s revealed that it belongs to the norse god Loki)

Is the mask not a reference to the movie The Mask? like, with Jim Carrey? I am in NO way saying that's where the mask ended up (LOL) but I the only other reference I know of Loki have a mask of any kind is in The Mask where they mention that the mask belonged to Loki (possibly The Mask 2...)

I think the mask might be a reference to the m9vie starring jim carrey the mask. In the lore apparently the titular "mask" belonged to loki god of mischief. But thats just a theory a game theory

I did love playing as atreus and do think a solo game would be good because he can have a more focused combat system
