I experienced 2 weeks of silence and realized that most of what I had to say was unnecessary. This by the end of the 2nd day. The rest of the time I was feeling peaceful and light.
On the other hand I've experienced the results of too much silence. At times I found that remaining silent for too long resulted in being ignored by others or seen as suspect. Everything is paradoxical.

Better to speak less than too much

Should we remain silent forever, keep quiet and accept without saying anything?
How have all the famous men and women in the history of humanity managed to change certain conditions and mentalities without saying anything to speak out against slavery, against the injustice of oppressed and starving peoples, against social injustice and misery ,against lies?
Would Buddha be a dominant of this world and that all his philosophy would be in fact to better oppress people?
Yes, you have to say it, you have to have the courage to be fearless and speak the truth loud and clear!
Even attracting anger!
That's the only way to raise everyone's consciousness... I can understand that withdrawing into silence is a solution, but that comes after you've told the truth, your truth, and then maybe silence causes something positive or negative to ripen in your mind... maybe after you've said it, maybe silence will cause people to move closer or further away... it doesn't matter !

This is my mother who always complain about her family members as she is unhappy with her daughter in law (a Lil bit of abnormal but not everytime) ! How can I avoid her as she needs the mental support for her old age! Though she is the way of her spiritual shadhana! She knows everything but failure to control her mind.😢
