What's the name of the AI

I'm torn in 2 mindsets with this. On one hand, it feels like plagiarism as you skip the whole process of ideation and just say of yeah, that's the one I'll copy. Or does it just shift the process and meaning of ideation? As a designer I feel like I've not really done much if it's not coming from the creation of my mind ....well majority of the design anyway, maybe like 80/20.

On the other hand, I think it's a great way to rapidly get ideas and design direction. Hmmm 🤔

90% of the options shown here are complete nonsense. You've got random dashboard components slapped together with art... in what world is there a use case for this? I see tons of designers on Dribbble doing these fictitious dashboards all the time which serve no UX driven purpose and it's really just a way to make visual porn. I'm not hating on these people, as most of us start here when getting into design. But understanding what looks good visually is such a small component to the spectrum of UI/UX.

And while visual aesthetic is subjective, I find it interesting that you're so fascinated with these strictly visual based generated outcomes and yet you recreate the donut hero section to a less appealing degree compared to the AI. The AI version had nuance to the palette and overall composition at least. Your interpretation of it felt way more robotic and uninspired.

It's a common basic layout, you didn't need AI to tell you to use something that has existed for a decade or longer that was created by a human initially. Not a good tool based on this.

After recreating it in photoshop, where do you go next to make it a real website ? Like how do you get the buttons to be active links etc…?

It's very obvious that Midjourney has been trained on Behance/Dribbble images of designs. It then regurgitates something that looks kinda like a landing page, and you're using that for your design?
What a load of crap.
Why dont you just browse Behance/Dribbble for 5 minutes and rip off a design directly?

It's the same as using "Freepick" for getting assets. It's more a matter of using your curatorial skills to tell a story. I feel that AI uses just one style which is photorealism. We might all gonna end up with the same style and It will then again be a problem of diferentiating yourself so it will be a creative problem yet again.
