Thanks for this Clement. Made me feel a lot better about my upcoming interview 🙌
ОтветитьEverything is being done to make you succeed? Really? Just the fact that passing the interviews are literally a whole industry themselves (and you are part of that industry with your company) says that these interviews aren't setup for candidates to pass!
Ответитьso make sure you "thrive under ambiguity" but also "ask clarifying questions"?
ОтветитьThe 36 dislikes are from people Clem gave "Strong no hire".
ОтветитьImagine being the teacher that teaches the software engineers to become interviewers ( or atleast get them to have an idea on how it s done )
Ответить6 to 12 months with the company + training to become an interviewer? No one wonder why there's bias and gatekeeping in the hiring process. For a company that "hires at scale," their interview training needs to cater to the lowest common denominator interviewer to keep the hiring pipeline process moving. Assuming this, there's going to be biases that won't and can't be weeded out.
ОтветитьWhat percentage of candidates that make it to HC get approved?
ОтветитьThanks for such deep insights about Google Interview Process. :) Love from India
Ответитьhii! So I have a STEP technical interview coming up, and I'm a little nervous. I'm about to purchase your practice package! I'm also in a software development BootCamp and I was wondering how would I mention this? Or should I even mention this. I just thought it would be nice to know that I'll be learning so much more before the start of the internship
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьInvaluable top tip: Don't tell your interviewer to go ** themselves 😂
ОтветитьI just interviewed with google this week. It was intense. I’m not confident in the outcome.
ОтветитьCan a recruiter reject a candidate based on interviewers' feedback?
ОтветитьIf I deserve dit, I'd give high marks, or at least a lean hire if a candidate told me to go fuck myself. Strong backbone.
ОтветитьGreat content. As one who is in progress with the interview process, I really value that google looks internally at their own process and doesn’t assume that any minor mishap is completely the fault/result of the candidate like many other places do. They def seem to consider all things as candidates progress through the process. 👍🏼
ОтветитьHi clement i was curious about the behavioral interview. Is this a separate class that you have to take to conduct these types of interviews? Or can you just schedule that you’d like to do a behavioral interview? Really curious how this works. entering college this fall, so without a doubt in time i will be getting algo expert to prepare for internships. :) love your channel, keep up the great work
ОтветитьThe "google interviewer wants you to succeed" in most cases it is a complete BS. Also about their "Googleness" thing: total BS. Some of the interviewers are probably scored in negative double digits on the "Googleness" scale: disrespectful, arrogant sociopaths. This somewhat explains why Google fails so many products. It is pretty much like working for PG&E, except you do not need to wear that stupid cap with propeller on the top.
ОтветитьAn interesting video, it would be also fun to hear you talking about how the actual interviews go. Are most candidates terrible, how does an outstanding interview look like? Any funny stories that happened during the interview?
Ответить"I think that this video will be really insightful"... too much ego for me and there's a metric ton of stuff on google interviews out there, there is NOTHING new here.
ОтветитьThis was very helpful. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьThe purple overcoat intralysosomally polish because james accordingly peck beside a daffy plain. observant, gigantic nation
Ответитьplease make a video on what is a lunch interview and what is evaluated in that.
ОтветитьHey Clem! Love your videos. I wanted to ask, how do you think interviewers typically weight an assessment between behavioral vs technical ability? 50/50? 30/70?
ОтветитьHey Clement can you Plss make curated List of Leet Code Questions
ОтветитьWaiting for the AlgoExpert T-SHIRT.

ОтветитьI'm just starting my software engineer course in September. I've coding a bit in my grade 10 class but that's about it. Any tips to help me?
ОтветитьNice video. I have a question. Does the feedback of shadow interviewer, carry weightage for the interview result?
ОтветитьHey man I've been watching your account for a while now and it's so helpful! I'm currently a high school senior planning on majoring in computer science and channels like yours are so appreciated :) You inspire me to keep doing what I'm doing right now, so thanks!!
ОтветитьI wish I could get AlgoExpert for free and once when I land in a job, I could pay them back😂

ОтветитьDo you get paid an extra for conducting interviews?
ОтветитьNice Intro bro..

Its a new year cmon
lmaooo this video too fanny. Do you know if companies like Google and Facebook let candidates see their hire file after being accepted? Like see their interviewer's notes and stuff like that?
ОтветитьVery insightful video man! Good work!
Ответитьeverytime this guy speaks I feel like he going to poke me with his chin
ОтветитьHi clement, i have a question, is there any limit to the number of jobs we can apply for at Google in a year?, because I have seen in some companies they say you cannot apply more than 3 times for a position in a year, Facebook has that. Does Google have anything similar to that. Would really like to know your thoughts and view on it.
Ответитьclement finally changed his t'shirt
Ответитьit's obviously el-eye-gee-bleh
ОтветитьClèment you should too write a book on Technical Interviews like - "Cracking The Coding Interview" , describing all your technical Interview experiences 🔥
ОтветитьWhat if the candidate has a Stuttering problem? Will, it matters in the interview?
Ответить
