I rember playing this game the first time it came out.. Nothing fancy.. Than I stopped for like 3 years and then came back to see the new update, got hyped, got killed right after I spawned by a pig like creature then stopped due to rage quit for like another year..

I started playing yesterday for the first time (I watched some of your videos while it downloaded).
In one of my first caves there was an "aggressive" giant spider. I killed it almost immedietly after I scanned it and saw "aggressive".

I once spawned (new game) on a space station versus a planet, that was weird.

I see that you started with 2 cargo slots in your exo suit, started with 0... is that randomly generated?

My very very 1st planet wasn't lush, but it wasn't hazardous at all.... To bad game froze on that one xD

Hello friends! My game is turning with like 20 FPS max and i have good PC. All my other games are runnig with high fps except no man's sky. Do you guys know how to fix this?

Is there anything specific or special I should look for on the paradise planet?

Jason great vids. I’m using a desktop with keyboard and trackball. How do you pick amount to deposit in storage e.g. I have 1000 gold and only want to deposit 500 or vis versa. Right now I either deposit all or withdraw all, it’s a real pain.

Yes you can start on a paradise planet if you only invest about 1 to 2 days into starting and restarting a new game!, if you going to do this make sure the economy is also Affluent with Passive Sentinels! That's how long it took me so dont hold me to it! as it might be shorter or even longer for you! Not sure about the exact RNG % "very low", but its indeed possible!

I haven’t seen any videos on here yet about refining tainted metal down if you use the duplication glitch and get you about five or six stacks of tainted metal it literally refines down to over 120,000 in nanites. So 10 or 15 minutes in front of a refiner will make you more than you will ever use in a few minutes

I don't understand why no one uses Cave marrow to gain Sodium, during new start, fast and easy to get.

Depending on the environment you start on, sometimes ferrite dust may be hard to come by, therefore rusted metal DOES comes in handy to refine into ferrite dust. 😊

i would say also scan the stalactites, as they tend in my experience to have copper as a secondary most often

On my second restart, I got a Paradise planet as my Second planet! Super lucky!

The only time I've spawned on a tropical planet is jumping to Eissentam at the end of the Artemis quest. I've never started the game on one.

Please keep on doing what you do, and maybe consider trying out some of the other space games? I just bought Elite Dangerous for $7.99 for my PS4 pro. Normally I'm a PC player but you've talked me into dusting off it and the old Xbox One. NMS is a great game to lounge on the couch while playing - Elite Dangerous maybe not so much! Absolute vertical learning curve but slowly getting better. I have to remind myself that NMS seemed strange the first time I played so many hours ago. Would be exciting to see what these games look like on the PS5 - if I could only find one. My daughter is coming back from Taiwan in a week with an RTX 3080ti she bought for me. Just $1500 there and $2500 here - yikes!
