I know people ask all the time to test different purifiers, but can you please test a Honeywell Air Genius? Unlike the majority of purifiers they use a washable filter called an iFD filter which claims to be nearly as good as HEPA, it works similar to the old Ionic Breeze technology except with many small plates rather than a few very large plates, so yeah I'm sure it works but I'd love to know if it actually preforms even close to a hepa filter.

Just picked up the Levoit as my Fiancé has terrible allergies and so far it’s been great! Will update how we like it!

I completely forgot to mention and this is important, one of the reasons I bought the Core 300S was to eliminate odors, unfortunately it didn't help even on the first day, next time I will buy a different type of filter maybe it will change something.

I have the Levoit 300 and a Germ Guardian. I absolutely love my Levoit and find it does much better on pet odor and household smells like air fryer, oven, etc. The Germ Guardian is right next to my two Litter Robots and it does not do the job at all. We are going to get another Levoit for that area.

Bought the Levoit 300 off the back of this review and I’m very disappoints with the performance of the unit. It’s noisy even on min and it’s not removing smells despite upgrading to the detox filter. My old Philips 2000i air purifier was so much better than the Levoit, which I’m now returning to Amazon.

Would love to see Blue Air Classic review. They have two different levels of filters and consumer reports loves this unit. But I've been having issued with smelly filters on their high end filters. Just curious if anyone else had the same issues.

I'm using the Alen Breathesmart 45i and 75i I like them both not really in this kinda price range tho. I did recommend this levoit to a buddy for a small room glad it was a decent choice.

Your tests are excellent, but scoring and making assumptions on the filters based on size and appearance is not scientific, like buying a car by the pound or a house by the square foot. Filter media vary greatly in technology which is not apparent by visual inspection.

Also, any device with cheap (read: consumer-grade) UV lights should be avoided as they generate Ozone which should absolutely be avoided. Ozone is naturally occurring but is considered unhealthy. Generation of Ozone inside an occupied space is never recommended.

This is so crazy cus I just bought a levoit for my son's room and plan on gettin for my room... I looked at those filters also and now kno it's beneficial to get the green filter when I replace filters
