linus learning 1988 k-band satellite adjustment
Ответить12.10....i think there's a burglar lurking around outside your house
ОтветитьThis makes me wonder what places like Walmart use for there cell repeaters. Cause those buildings are big metal boxes so no wat they can rely on a phones normal signals working through them. And the buildings are HUGE.
ОтветитьThis is illegal in India
ОтветитьGeeks are hilarious when trying to put things up and fix shit.
ОтветитьInteresting choice for time locations...
ОтветитьTel Aviv huh
ОтветитьHey dudes! Can we get an update on this? Still enjoying it? I am moving to a new home in Georgia and it has 0 cell service in the home. Im curious if this helps with literally 0 signal to my phone.
ОтветитьMetric
ОтветитьImagine not having 11,000 ping 😂. Still not as bad as my internet and cellar connection.
ОтветитьDamn, that is one FUGLY looking screen. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it now, foldable phones are dumb, i can't stand looking at that wavy screen with an uber obvious crease.
Ответитьi now have a favorite Cell Amp Company
ОтветитьJake’s knowledge when it comes to networking is outstanding, I want to be like him when I graduate college
ОтветитьIts all kinda on Linus for buying a mansion
ОтветитьIn most countries, it is illegal to install something like this yourself. It works in the licensed band.
ОтветитьThe innovation here is called "Wi-fi Calling" lol. This thing'll only work when your power is on... just like your Wifi. Granted, it will work if you lose internet though, so if that narrow slice of utility is worth the buy in, this'll do just fine.
ОтветитьI wish you would have done a video call at the end to show the improvement from before install. Love your videos!
ОтветитьAt work, we have 5 storeys of car parking above us. But we still get solid 5G in the warehouse basement. It's actually faster and more stable than our corp WiFi 😂
ОтветитьJust use VoWifi bruh.
Ответитьone of these days americans will use normal, metric system... But not today.
ОтветитьPretty sure here in Canada, WiFi Calling also routes SMS
ОтветитьMIMO on this system?
ОтветитьLinus' family will be glowing green in no time.
ОтветитьMy neighbourhood just got 5G installed and inside my house I can get nearly a gigabit over 5G!
ОтветитьThe line "Linus is the reason I have trust issues" implies they did trust falls and Linus dropped Jake... possibly several times.
ОтветитьLTT branded cookies when?
ОтветитьIt makes sense that the upload is super solid since you're no longer dependent on the output power-limited RF transmitter on your cellphone reaching the cell tower, but on Waveform's network unit which probably has a solid Tx amplifier, in combination with a directional RF antenna aimed at the cell tower.
Cool product!!
Thanks for the video Linus. Could you please tell me which app your buddy used to find the cellphone tower, to show which way the antenna needed to be pointed to? Thank you
ОтветитьAfter the time since installation, have you done some improvements to the system and how did it perform? 😎
Ответитьand yet another waste of cash on hardware that has been obsolete since the introduction of POE on everything I have to wonder why the link isn't isn't at the highest point in the home for the cleanest reception
Personally air fiber would of been a better solution...you also nbeed to make a choice whether you want a smart home wired or wireless
Or you want keep fucking around with technology options that with introduce electronic noise into the network in interfere with all sorts of signals meaning no dimmers, or smart lighting can be used because the tech they are based within hasn't had isolation issues dealt with to the cows come home..
For a smart man Linus you kinda remind me of Frank Spencer and not to let you near technology because you'll find a way to fuck something up and having to have someone bail you out...
Any update on the service? I live in rural Ontario and I'm interested in getting service from across the border since they have 5g. It's about 2 to 3km away. Even if I get lte I would be happy.
ОтветитьWould have preferred more professional coverage not mediocre entertainment
ОтветитьThat’s why i love the wifi calling feature i have wifi so i also have service.
ОтветитьLinus denied Donger Privilages to his house.
ОтветитьAs a Cellular and internet technician that uses cel-fi gear, It literally blew my mind that they have boosters that transfer boosted signal over ethernet. Its much better than running fat LMR 400 coax all over the house!
Ответитьgood thing wifi calling works pretty well
ОтветитьSomething I feel like i am watching Japanese adult video is LTT 🤣🤣
ОтветитьIf I was the editor who had to blur out all of Linus' house just to have him share his address on stream, I'd probably sue.
ОтветитьWhy not WiFi calling, it's free on my android
ОтветитьI have the cel-fi go x and it's constantly boosting from 1 bar to 5 bars. Over the course of thos video I've went from no signal to 5 bars about 12 times. I wouldn't say it bad but if I didn't have wifi, I'd be SOL about 80% of the day.
ОтветитьVowifi would be good for You, don't u have it in Canada yet?
ОтветитьI like the intro’s message, “cell tower inside his house”
Gave me a big smile.
