Just from the start, it sounds like you’re a part of the cult of Chabad. Real Judaism converts as quickly as possible since the Torah says not to teach it to Goy. The conversion “process” is only a month or so, so that the person can as quickly as possible start learning Torah and the rules for a Jew.
