I beat this game last year. One if the best rpgs I've ever played. I recommended it to someone today and now I'm thinking about another adventure.

really bad video. I do work fulltime and just got the game. I do not understand anything. Just wanted a OP starter build to blast through the game (will probably never finish even act1). other videos talk about Summoner Class is OP. necromancer build blah blah. polymorph builds blah blah OP. WTF why all those dumb names? wtf is this? is this the video or the game? why so many different names for the same things? this is simply stupid. why is there not "THE necromancer build" or "THE summoner build"???

Does burning and poison damage get better or worse late game? I'm currently using your scourage wizard build but I'm only level 9 right now and it seems like ignition and poison damage hasn't increased much per turn.

I've watched a lot of your videos for Dos2 and dunno how i ended up with a Frost paladin with aerothurge spells as well...somehow it doesn't seem to work too well, I'm not sure. Should i take away the points in warfare/strength and put into intelligence/finnesse?

This game is great other than the fact that there’s litteraly like 7 viable builds in the whole game and if u don’t optimize into one your just gonna suck

He amount of build variety of this game is crazy. I'm playing DOS EE and the sequel is miles ahead (but i'm still having tons of fun, solid foundation)

So... no pure hybrid where you get 3 points into almost every class and tons of Memory? My build is hydrosophist, necro, aerothurge, archer, warrior, rogue, summoner, in no particular order. I like to have a full bar of skills for every possible scenario, a Swiss Army Knife class. Or do you class them in terms of how they do damage? I see myself as more of a pure crowd control class, I don't really have much damage, though I do use bow combined with necro for the melee attacks when I don't have a better skill to use. I dump most of my stats into constitution and memory with only a few in other stats for the armor requirements.

Srsly DOS is so much more fun in comparison to baldurs gate 3 because you can USE YOUR ABILITIES! I hate the “rest function” ohh you can use your spells once until you slept because off reasons!

I've not played divinity yet but I played divine divinity and really want to get into the new game. I really enjoy a Guts build across all rpgs, not a cosplay but a build, meaning a crossbow in offhand and a massive sword in the right hand with an arsenal of gadgets. Are hybrid builds at all possible?

yeah but we all know the best build is to create a chest denser than an average super massive black hole and use it to flatten every living organism in the game

My friend and I are considering starting a COOP game...anyone know of recent nerfs or changes to these builds?

I have accidentally made a build that my friend and I have dubbed “The Immortal” (Lone Wolf required), have a ratio of 2:4:1 in Str:End:Int until you can get both Str and End to max (you are free to add stat points into wits if needed), High warfare, polymorph and necromancy abilities (just for life leech), mid hydro and geo abilities for sufficient magic armour, health and armour recharge, as long as you use strength based armour with a shield it’s hard to die and you deal quite good damage with poly skills. Challenge will be your lifeline for a lot of fights if it gets on the ropes, but it will be hard to get anyone to break through your armour values. (Literally 11k HP after getting into 2nd act)

if you just started DOS2, stop watching this because knowing nothing on the game is the biggest enjoyable part.

It's just 2 of us and there is no one else in the party, so what is the best build for only 2 people, i see a lot of comments that recreating a character, and im not interested on making a new one lol, any suggestions?

I'm currently playing the Definitive Edition of Div2 on Tactician and I love it. I'm a Micromanager of 4 all built the same way 3 Knights WF/Geo/Sum and a Cleric Hyd/Geo/Sum.

Hint: If your not used to playing this type of game, I strongly suggest starting on Tourist Classic mode experiencing the game play all the way through. You won't need a guide to get through it. Open your mind and go on your instincts, trust in yourself, talk to literally everyone. if you can speak to animals even better they can provide clues for a puzzle or dungeon your neck deep in.

After you have familiarized yourself with the game play you should try Tactician mode highly recommended. Its all I ever play anymore. You will feel very accomplished for that feat of strength. if you get bored bring a buddy and show him/her how to play always good times!

I've had a really, really great time playing on Classic Mode with Eternal Warrior, Juggernaut, Ranger, and Tectonic Sage. The Juggernaut in particular is just un-killable.

The main reason why i can't get pass Fort Joy is THER IS 4 FUCKING CHRACTERS HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CHOOSE 4 TIMES WHEN 1 IS ALREADY HARD ENOUGH

Damn. I put intelligence on my warrior build couse red prince really looking good on that sword and shield plus dragon breath and stuff. I deal small damage on physical but a ton on those magic. But still it's so weak

Can you use these builds on your team members or just the main character you created on at the start?

When you say battle mage,it sorta pisses me off, cuz it makes me think hex blade,but to my knowledge its not the case

OP build is a telekinesis build. Move a box with you as heavy as possible. Hit enemy with box, insta death to everything. I've done 7,000+ dmg in one hit before.

Hey if you are having trouble whom ever is scrolling on down... Have 2 summoners and 2 people that can knockdown. Have everyone learn teleport, both heals, throw shield, tactical retreat, cloak and dagger, chloroform, Fortify, Armour of Frost, adrenaline and chicken form. (Have everyone learn Pawn as well) You can tactical jump 2x in a turn to get a weak character away from battle for them to completely heal outside of battle, while 2 champion incarnates lay waste and take all the damage from good positioning. Able to beat 5+ level enemies with this.
