as a long term user of the IKEA MARKUS chair, I do not recommend it as the chair quickly loses its comfortability and the joints become quite squeaky over time. also the point where the seating part attaches to the wheels is quite weak and will wiggle itself out so that you feel like you're sitting on a pillow that on top of a rock which is not a great experience. also the screws come loose quite quickly
PS: I've had the chair for almost 4 years straight and it has been shit for like 2 years
I'd never go back to one Monitor. Awful.
ОтветитьThe Logitech K380 keyboard is an amazing budget alternative for the ones shown in the video. It costs approximately $40 and fulfills all the needs for a minimal and highly functional desktop. The construction is good, with excellent adherence, and the key resistance is just perfect.
For desktop audio in my country (Chile), there are very few alternatives under $100 with good overall quality. I have found that only Logitech offers a good option in those price ranges, including a subwoofer. I have been using the Logitech Z211 for about 10 years now, and they are simply fantastic for their cost (like $30 or so). It's a consistently solid product, and I don't doubt that the newer models are as well.
great video, but what're those comfy pants you are wearing?
ОтветитьThis was actually a good video, no ads or nothing just what you should look for when making your home setup
ОтветитьI also have a pait of those BOSE. Best PC speakers ever, but I do need to drive it with an external DAC to get the best out of them.
ОтветитьI have bad eyes and a 40 desk...what size monitor is best for me?
ОтветитьI've learned the desk depth thing really early since I like to have everything mounted onto my desk, this is because I have to move my setup every like 2-3 months idk why but if I don't I feel wrong. I've found the best depth for me is 30in and to use a pad that can easily slide so when I need to write I can move all my peripherals forward.
ОтветитьVery very good video! your voice and way of explaining stuff is really good!
ОтветитьIt helps the Magic Keyboard matches the keyboard of the MacBook Pro. I’ve always found that familiar when going disconnected.
ОтветитьSo secret lab is a 'gaming chair' but its a good ergonomic chair. Money well spend.
ОтветитьHi Oliur,
Quick question: In the video, you're using an Apple Watch Ultra band that looks really good. Could you please do a review on it?
how come gaming chairs are not comfortable? For longer working hours it definatly is if it is from a good brand
ОтветитьIf you want a "Gaming chair" go for Secretlab or the HM Embody. I have a SL chair and it has a more subdued aesthetic, and I would say decent ergo. Not to cushy so it is good for long days. Been using it for over a year and it really hasn't given me any trouble and I am in it probably 30-50 hours a week.
ОтветитьGot the Logitech Lift and never looked back!
ОтветитьIt’s ironic ergonomics is the biggest point of this video but you prefer the mouse most famously known as not ergonomic and poorly designed lol
ОтветитьYour videos are 10/10, editing, presentation, your studio, your talking 👍🔥💯
ОтветитьIf you work from home, even if just a couple days a week, splashing out on an ergonomic chair is a must. I started having a nerve issue in my upper back so my employer got me a better chair where you can adjust everything and it made me realise how bad my chair at home is for my back.
ОтветитьI got my desk custom build and it is 5 feet wide but the depth is only 1.6 feet and now I regret a lot as my monitor takes all the space
ОтветитьThat Herman Miller chair is 6 months of my salary.
ОтветитьEverytime I stand up from my gaming chair its like Im dying.
ОтветитьLook professional office
ОтветитьExcellent advice! Thanks and keep it up 👍👍
ОтветитьWhy are gaming chairs so bad?
ОтветитьDo you have a more affordable option for the Apple Studio Display?
ОтветитьFantastic video. I love the points made, the pacing, and the production quality. 🔥
ОтветитьWhat about cable management?😊
Ответитьwhat monitor arm is this? the link isn’t specific
ОтветитьGüzel video, teşekkürler.
ОтветитьAs a physical therapist who treats MANY people for chronic neck pain (typically due to their poor posture and setup at a desk all day), I greatly appreciate this video.
ОтветитьI really love the Apple Magic Mouse too! However I use the Microsoft ergonomic 4000 keyboard. I like how it keeps your wrist in proper placement. The Apple keyboard looks way to flat and will prob cause wrist or carpal tunnel issues.
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьMac and Windows (or Linux) have different multi-task philosophies. It makes sense that Mac users wouldn't do multiple monitors instead opting for one nice one, the software steers you in this direction.
Pros and Cons certainly, but one major Pro of forcing such focus is that it maintains a creative person's flow and concentration on the thing being created.
there's workspaces already integrated in windows 11.
ОтветитьI wouldn't like this set up. This is all work no play.
I went with a hybrid work during the day gamer at night.
Hhkb hybrid + razer basilisk v3 pro for work.
And Asus claymore 2 + orochi v2 when gaming.
A standing desk would be so nice tho. I think I'll just make a second dedicated computer just for work.
Would agree with the gaming chair comment save for secret labs. I think their Titan chair looks good and is also fairly ergonomic.
ОтветитьWhen you bought the desk top, did you have to drill your own holes to fasten it to the legs?
ОтветитьIs having your monitor against a bright backdrop like that window distracting for you? I thought the typical lighting practices were for ambient light to be between your monitor brightness and the background to reduce eye strain.
Ответитьglad to see you all healthy my friend!
ОтветитьWhat cable are you using for connecting your macbook with external monitor?
ОтветитьYou said that gaming chairs are bad for the back but you didn't bother explaining why; so I'm asking, why exactly are gaming chairs bad and how does that ridiculously expensive chair remedy that?
Cursory (because I already have my own opinion obviously) google search has you on the wrong side of the argument so far. Please respond (might save health of any one else that reads this and had been set in the same opinion as mine).
What lights do you use?
ОтветитьFINALLY!! Somebody who recognizes the importance of Desk Depth!!!!!
It's an absolute bummer that it's almost impossible to find a good affordable desk with nice deep depth. It's sad
Clean
ОтветитьHey Oliur can you please share the specific model of your desk frame? I think the link redirects me to others with lower quality. Thanks!
