Help. I did this and when I returned to final cut pro it says iMovie library and I can't see my final cut pro projects anymore. Can you help me please?
ОтветитьThis was a great tutorial. Thank you !
ОтветитьI had deleted iMovie from my MacMini because I already had FCP X. After watching this video I had to go back and reinstall it.
ОтветитьI do not see the menu items that have BACKGROUNDS to choose from. How do I reveal that?
ОтветитьAwesome!! Thanks so much for sharing this video!
This is exactly what I was looking for sooooo long time!!
Genius! Thank you :-)
ОтветитьGreat video man, very useful for long distances. But what about maps for short distances? Like I’m trying to make a map and show the close up route cause there are loads of hairpin bends, is there something for that type of thing?
ОтветитьThe best tips and tutorials by Ripple Training, well-done.
ОтветитьThis is a great tip, thanks so much for sharing!
ОтветитьAbsolutely brilliant, easy to follow and it works. Great to have these maps on FCP, thank you!

ОтветитьThank you for this, this is amazing!
ОтветитьHi guys!
First, I love your channel and also loved your FCP training which I purchased on Ripple Training online. I was astonished that it is so easy to utilize the maps from iMovie in FCP!
So here‘s my question: Is it also possible to utilize the trailer templates of iMovie in FCP? I know that I can edit a trailer in iMovie and then send it to FCP for fine tuning. But it seems that I cannot edit the text anymore. I always have to go back to iMovie edit the text, then send it again to FCP and copy the newly edited text to paste it at the right position in the time line. Is there any way to avoid this procedure and edit the text of a iMovie trailer template directly in FCP?
Thanks a lot in advance and kind regards from Germany

My iMovie is not showing any maps in backgrounds... how do I get them?
Ответитьi learned a lot from watching your videos

ОтветитьFirst time I've installed iMovie after a very long time. Always thought to buy a maps plugin but you've just saved me £30/£40 so a huge thanks.
ОтветитьWow, such a great tip. I had no idea you could do that. I guess I need to do some iMovie exploring.
ОтветитьGreat video. Loved it!! Thank you
ОтветитьOh Man.... I been editing in iMovie THEN Exporting the map to a QT Video then importing and then editing... but man. 10+ years of FCX and yous still teaching me tricks! Nice!!!
ОтветитьGreat tip!!!
ОтветитьI have used iMovie stuff in FCPX before but not the maps. 🗺
Thank you so much for this. (:
Absolutely perfect 💪🏻
ОтветитьNo way!!!!! Thank you soooooooo much
Ответитьvery cool
ОтветитьWOW!! Awesome! Thanks for this 60Sec Tip
ОтветитьWow! Love it! Thanks for the tip!
ОтветитьAbsolutely fantastic workaround oO
I was looking for something like this for so long and didn't have the budget to invest in the Map plugin for FCPX...
I reinstalled iMovie just for this tip ;)
By the way, you can uninstall iMovie after and the maps will stay usable ;)
This is absolutely perfect! I am loving your 1 min FCPX videos. Keep it up!
ОтветитьI'm loving all these quick tips! Thanks so much for sharing these!
ОтветитьGreat tip!
Ответитьfantastic🥳🥳🥳🥳 thx
ОтветитьI've worked a lot with X and the legacy FCP before that and I see that still don't know the real Master File export and what you can do with it. I only learned yesterday that I can set the output to create and MP4 movie for compatibility with PC users, and retain compatibility with Mac users, by simply choosing Master File with a setting of 'Computer' and 'H.264. But, a default name comes up for the export that I cannot get rid of. Please consider showing how to set multiple customized Master File outputs for our Destination List. BTW, for the first time yesterday, I tried batch exporting by shift-selecting 26 Projects, CMD-E for my default output (which is the Master File with the filled in name I've been trying to get rid of) and was pleasantly stunned that all 26 movies were rendered with their proper names. SO MANY TIMES over the years I've labored to individually render multiple files due to ignorance. sigh But, I'm glad to know now.
ОтветитьBrilliant gold! Thanks.
ОтветитьWhoa
ОтветитьLove these quick tips guys 👌
ОтветитьWOW! Very Cool! I would never have thought of trying that - Bravo!
ОтветитьWow.......what can I say.
ОтветитьGreat tip. I deleted iMovie long ago. So I'll download it. Do this. Then delete it again.
ОтветитьExcellent - I'm loving these tips. Have been a huge RT fan since I bought the FCP training video series - well worth it if you get a chance, I refer to it regularly and have done the full course a few times.
ОтветитьBrilliant!
ОтветитьFar out! Is there anything you DON'T know? You guys are the BEST.
ОтветитьWORD 🙌🏼😁
ОтветитьGreat tip !!! But why is this an iMovie only If it exist on FCPX Apple is weird sometimes.
ОтветитьBrilliant tip - thank you Mark and Ripple Training! I had previously used Maps in iMovie but had forgotten about them, having been on FCP X now for several years.I've just used one of the Maps in a FCP X project, after following your tip. I was able to paste a Map as a Connected Clip above the main storyline over a clip of the ocean. I then changed the Blend mode for the Map to Screen (from Normal), resulting in a beautiful overlay of the Map on the ocean, highlighting the ship cruise route from Sydney to Norfolk Island (a project I'm working on for a friend). Thanks again Mark!
Ответитьheading home to reinstall iMovie.
ОтветитьThats very simple in iMovie to fcpx,no need motion for maps.
Thank you....🙏
Well I never !! Fantastic tip !
ОтветитьThis will be perfect for some old family holiday videos.
