The movie is set and filmed in chicago. Theres a guy who went to a the filming locations. Most are close to each other. The subway stairs where chucky and andy clme down from are right next to the alley they walk through. Even though in the movie it seems far. The alley is actually an over pass. The toy store in the beginning is now An abandoned building. And the alley where mom got the doll is on another part of town from where the job was

Chucky scared the life out of me when i was a kid but looking at it now. its crazy it had so many movies like. you could melt it down to straight plastic or chop it up/crush it into pieces. done and dusted, literally. now i just see these movies as bad horror movies but i like your reactions so ima watch the others.

back when I was a kid, 4-8 years old, I watched ALL the 'scary' movies... This was the only one that actually creeped me out.
He got more human, had the facial features as the movie went on... Super creepy.

charles lee ray (aka Chucky) is an expert at what you call "manipulation" he is great at making someone else look like they killed the people he killed...that's probably his genius level MO. that's what he does best. before he was turned into a doll he did a lot of awful things (which you learn about eventually in like the sixth film). he doesn't just kill because he has to...but because he enjoys it...that's a hole other level of fu%$ed up. as for how he does things as a doll...it's voodoo...don't question it.

The concept of a doll becoming a murderer is Goofy. But they did great job. Chucky is Legendary😊
