ОтветитьThe engine discussion on the GR is so wrong, it hurt my head. It is not odd firing, it just has an odd number of cylinders that fire in evenly 240 deg intervals, not 60 deg intervals. It takes a 12 cylinder 4-stroke (or a 6 cyl 2-stroke) to get down to 60 deg power stroke intervals.

ОтветитьI have Borla XRs on my '78 460 BBF, sounds like a monster... but refined. Just my opinion but mufflers like flowmaster or magnaflow sound trashy. Borla's sound low and meaty. Glad you guys are promoting them.

And well, let's be honest, many of these cars are made for no reason at all aside records and the cool factor, so, im sure futurr tech and interests will keep pushing it!
Ответитьmy dream car is a lancia fulvia, brown/copper metallic, slightly lowered on BBS super RS with bronze middles with a build 5 cylinder 2.3 volvo engine out of the 850´s titanium exhaust with flat backbox/tip. maybe a turbo for the waistgate noises but N/A only sounds so fk dope... thats my dream car... dont know how optainable this project is cause a bare shell fulvia no frame or anything in half descent shape goes for 10/12k-ish where i live, so from what i counted that project would cost at least 35/45k over 6± years working weekends.. might remain a dream, might get lucky hahaha, anyways 5 cylinders is life!
