How to fill and sign a PDF document or form with Adobe Acrobat Reader

I have a new laptop and it doesn’t have any of these options in the side navigation such as full and sign like my old laptop did. I don’t know if I have the wrong program or what. It says PDF reader.

It doesn’t even have the file, edit, view options at the top. I just downloaded I guess the newest version and none of this is there. Looks complete different now.

It asks me for a 7 day trial and asks my payment meathod. How do i edit PDF for free

It would me helpful if you show how to display the side bar if the learner does not have it visible on their Adobe PDF Reader application.
