Thank you for this helpful video!! I have a question concerning the 2FA QR Code. I would like to set up the 2FA for me, but also for all the other users of the website. How can I do that? Simple enable the 2FA for all user roles and send the same QR code to them? Or will everyone need another QR Code? The wordfence backend isn't clear enough at this point, or I don't understand it right :-D. Many Greetings, Jennifer

ОтветитьGreat video. I'm using siteground and already installed WordFence without using the manual setting for the firewall. It says 'extended protection', does that mean it has worked or will I need to uninstall the application and redo it manually through siteground? Thank you!

ОтветитьI have the Wordfence Security (FREE Version) and I now have "The last rules update for the Wordfence Web Application Firewall was unsuccessful. The last successful update check was July 8, 2020 11:59 AM, so this site may be missing new rules added since then. You may wait for the next automatic attempt or try to Manually Update by clicking the "Manually Refresh Rules" button below the Rules list." error and I wonder what the fix could be. Thanks.

Instead, it says "The changes have not yet taken effect. If you are using LiteSpeed or IIS as your web server or CGI/FastCGI interface, you may need to wait a few minutes for the changes to take effect since the configuration files are sometimes cached. You also may need to select a different server configuration in order to complete this step, but wait for a few minutes before trying. You can try refreshing this page." What does that mean? Did something not work correctly?

ОтветитьHi. Thanks for the video. I am shopping around for a security plugin for my sites. I currently have WordFence set up but have not configured it. It sounds like Wordfence is the best option. This was also recommended by my host. Security is not my forte. Are you by chance available to configure my Wordfence plugin?

ОтветитьHi, could you explain why wordfence creating issues like The current scan looks like it has failed. Its last status update was more than 2 hours 59 mins ago. You may continue to wait in case it resumes or stop and restart the scan. Some sites may need adjustments to run scans reliably. Click here for steps you can try.
