Nothing new under the sun! Most of it is just old wine in new bottles 👎👎👎
ОтветитьGet a knife.. it’s way more useful than tiny shears
ОтветитьThose rescue shears are different from the Leatherman ones? Look identical
ОтветитьWhat the name of the website?
ОтветитьOkay, I'm gonna have to say no to the shears.
A) It's a knockoff of Leatherman's Raptor shears, you can see on the strap cutter a rectangular cut-out intended as a medical oxygen tank wrench.
B) 420HC steel may be corrosion resistant, but I know from experience these folding shears have too many nooks and crannies to stop rust from eventually forming in places you can't reach without pulling it apart. A cheap pair of medical shears, trilobite cutters and dive knives are lower maintenance.
C) not a bottle opener, the device comes with a strap cutter (very useful in specific situations) or ring cutter (rarely used)
I have had my Raptor shears for over 5 years now (2 years working in coastal settings), and while I still carry it there is no way I would ever bring it into the water with me. Save your money for simple but proven dive-cutting tools
Foldable fins?? Why! Half of the things are for fishing. Is this scuba or what. We dive, we don't kill.
Ответитьis this kind of folding shears, legal in egypt and other Countrys ?
ОтветитьAwesome Video! I want to see a Full gear video!
ОтветитьLol let me get out my folding sheers! Get real dude
Ответитьthats a knock off leatherman 😂
Ответитьid love to buy a spare air and use it in pools or while free diving for those few extra breaths of air
ОтветитьAm I watching the Home Shopping Network?
ОтветитьSpare air, for when you want to run out of air twice on a dive!
ОтветитьHow much the gloves
Ответитьhey Joe I've never suba drive before I'm virgin to this I recently bought a boat and want to add scuba diving to my adventure I need your help on what to get to start my adventure. I'm also on WhatsApp so any help would be greatly appreciated
ОтветитьI know how to use a knife... in what world is there a good chance someone would stabe themselves?
ОтветитьReally really
ОтветитьI could be wrong, but I believe in California you can only hunt bugs with your hands,…not allowed to use any devices to assist.
ОтветитьWhich regulator do you have? Seems to be side exhaust, which is cool, most I've used seem to be front exhaust.
ОтветитьUnder water my hands tend to get cold and manouvering small objects like the cutter is really hard. My (big) knife works fine in that situation and if used carefully (most divers tend to do it like that) you will hardly cut yourself 😅
ОтветитьSnorkel must be place opposite to the regulator.
ОтветитьCan you find a synonym for "really really"?
ОтветитьReally really…
ОтветитьAll good but the Spaire Air is only sufficient for shallow dives or in the best case scenario, to get to your buddy and share his air.
In any real emergency situation, that thing will not get you back safely to the surface, especially when panicked. So PLEASE, be careful on how you promote it.
Do you really think $500 is affordable for that mission dive watch? You can get a shearwater for cheaper than that. I'd argue that it's far from affordable for what you get.
ОтветитьCan you use the freeding mask as the main scuba mask? Is there any disadvantages using the freediving mask for scuba?
ОтветитьDidn't they have a recall on the nomad....
ОтветитьI find it odd how critical all these comments are?? Not everyone is deep diving!! I myself love the nomad and its all I need for what I do. If I want to do a deep dive ill borrow or rent the hundreds of dollars worth of shit ill need!! Spare air is something I wont go without, because im only going 30/35 feet down. Thank you for your reviews and realizing NOT EVERYONE is a "diver"!!
ОтветитьStoring the roll up snorkel in your shorts 🤣😅😂. Really, really, really-really, really, really-really ?!?!?!
ОтветитьThose shears will rust in no time protectant or not.
ОтветитьI’ve been a diver for over 30 years and I’ve never injured myself with my dive knife .. the sheers are are great idea and my be a good addition to a divers tool kit..
ОтветитьReally really...
ОтветитьWhat are the links to the products you mention in this video?
ОтветитьThe Life League Folding Shears look exactly like the Leatherman Raptor
ОтветитьIn australia we usually just where gloves and grab the lobsters or as we call them crayfish
ОтветитьHow about a Rolex Submariner?
The new models have a ceramic bezel, anti-magnetic parachrom hairspring, anti-shock chronergy movement and 300m water proof.
It’s also COSC certified.
It’s the only diving tool I use (apart from a tank, goggles and wetsuit).
Spare air - useless product for any real emergency. If you're really concerned about having a failure then dive a twinset/sidemount, carry a stage bottle or do both. Spare air will get you nowhere if you have any kind of deco obligation, get entangled or breathe fast due to stress.
ОтветитьGood grief What is the cut rating on that Is pair of gloves ?
ОтветитьDo you even dive bro?
ОтветитьDamn.. Let the lobsters in tge seas...
ОтветитьEverything looks cool except the spare air nonsense...3 breaths to death more like it
ОтветитьGreat to see new innovative products. It ends there.
ОтветитьNot sure about those fins.. How good are they in a current
ОтветитьI don’t know if it’s legal in your country to scuba dive to catch lobsters, but it’s definitely a cheat!! Shame on you!
ОтветитьI don’t think the dive belt would be efficient if you needed to make an emergency ascent after you unload all those little weights
ОтветитьAt the risk of sounding like a”moss back”, I have been diving since 1973. I have been both an NASDS instructor and store owner. I don’t understand the “modern” divers who strap all sorts of gadgets and gizmos to themselves and their dive rig, yet wearing a snorkel is somehow cumbersome and uncomfortable. The folding fins would be great for kids or surface snorkelers. As another person commented, if you pulled this stuff out on a dive boat, you would practically be laughed off the boat. The fins might be ok on a drift dive or shore diving with zero current. Otherwise they are a joke. Not to be over critical, but please find another word besides REALLY. You overuse that and it is annoying. Reminds me of the girls constantly saying”like”. Good diving to you.
ОтветитьSharks need to see your eyes! No tint plz!!!
Ответитьthe recsue shears aka the leatherman raptor why buy the sheap one??
ОтветитьSpare air? Six breaths to death? Really? Think any serious diver would take you seriously after you endorse that piece of shit? That's for boat owners disentangling screws from their nets, not for divers! Any diver with open water certification or better should know why this is useless (and be able to do the math to prove it) and what to do instead.
ОтветитьWell I'd buy the SMB / Spool, but everything else I'd pass on. $100 shears vs a $20 line cutter. BCD with lots of pockets - Why? Full face mask - So expensive and uses so much gas. Multi Function Dive computer / Fitness watch - Great idea, but Garmin already crushes that market. Why use a copy cat? Spare air? REALLY? REALLY?
