Now, that I’m 38 and in Southern California together w my wife and my baby daughter, I’d love to meet this legend, a God Fearing man someday.

Didn't Sylvester Stallone write that phrase for Rocky 4? I think Mr. T once said he feels sorry for the guy who has to fight him in a boxing match on a TV show, and Stallone was inspired by this, so he wrote that scene.

Oh come on, Mr. T didn't invent 'i pity the fool'. Bobby Bland was the singer who made the phrase famous in 1961. It was one of his biggest hits.

If you were a young kid in 1983, like I was, Mr T was THE coolest person on the planet. "Be somebody, help other people, do good" .. all coming from a hulk who was tougher than anyone. It was very powerful stuff and all lives on in how I think today.
