Riad Imam Mahmud : The healthy village story

Best Project Management Award: Champion 2022) : Healthy Village is a development approach began in Bangladesh to make sure no child die due to malnutrition, infectious diseases and other preventable causes.

In 2017 Riad Imam Mahmud developed the concept with great support from Md. Ahidul Islam, Md Irfan and Mark Jhon Ellery.

It mobilizes everyone around child health, integrating WASH, nutrition & health care for mother and child to tackle undernutrition. Specifically stunting, when children are too short for their age.

Max Foundation, a Dutch INGO works in Bangladesh became the first user of the concept with funding from Dutch Government.
