One of my biggest reasons for owning Makita tools over Milwaukee is that Milwaukee is a 100% Chinese company.
ОтветитьHilti. Hilti. Hilti.
ОтветитьBecause you finally bought all the Milwaukee ones?
ОтветитьMilwaukee aren't what they once were. Designer tools nowadays, look good on the outside with diy grade internals. All show and no go. Watch tool repairing vids. They are crap. Milwaukee tracksaw like their planer is as gutless as hell, your Makita xgt s are way better. The planer barely cuts 1.5mm, let alone 2mm.
ОтветитьHad makita 10yrs never a problem
ОтветитьMilwaukee är just garbage, give it 3-4 months and the batteries falls off...
ОтветитьThe job is much neater with makita. Job comes to a halt with dewalt.
ОтветитьI used to work industrial sales and then went IW. What I can say is the Milwaukee drill and impact drivers will smoke anything in the same price range. Maybe not for the first 8” lag screw but do 250 of them non stop.
ОтветитьWhen are you going to start getting festool then you will have a real addiction ahah. Love the content mate good stuff
ОтветитьIthink both are great choices. I like milwalkee for the power and wide range of power tools for unique applications and i like maketa for their smoothness, speed and precision
ОтветитьIf Makita puts in good effort to develop the xgt line they could dominate the market like they did in the early 2000s .
Ответитьbruh, you lost me with "Blutooth"...
ОтветитьMakita is the best you can buy this days . The biggest 3 advantages is durability , precision and that you can always find replacement parts ...
ОтветитьI’ve had every brand and ended up just using the Hercules brands because how easy it is to return something in person. ( haven’t had to yet)
ОтветитьMakita, Milwaukee and festool here… have used makita forever. Milwaukee nailers & impact drivers, I don’t like their saws. Also. A bunch of specialty m12 gear. None of my Makita tools have needed to be serviced yet , tho my drills are thoroughly thrashed and need some love. I wish I could say the same about Milwaukee.. I’m visiting that red service centre far too soon and more frequently than I’d like!
ОтветитьMakita is best for 18 volt
Milwaukee is best for 12 volt
I found myself subconsciously always reaching for my Makita tools over my M-18 stuff. I stopped buying the M-18 stuff. I buy Makita 18 volt and Milwaukee M-12.
Makita’s quality is superior to Milwaukee overall.
They all should be forced to make their batteries compatible with each other. I like what Bosch and Metabo are doing with the Ampshare and CAS systems.
ОтветитьM8 that’s a knock off battery. It doesn’t matter your platform. Those are shit.
ОтветитьI have Makita and Milwaukee both good brands... I did have the same problem with my Milwaukee battery just dying after 3months.
Ответитьi am a milwaukee guy through and through, i love the banter between guys on different platforms, but makita has always had my respect. Id be on that platform equally as much as I would milwaukee, but i got on the battery platform on team red when i first got in the trades
ОтветитьPersonally I use Milwaukee but that is only because there line up of tools are more suited to my work, no other brand comes close with options for mechanical and pipe fitting.
ОтветитьYeah Ive been avoiding all the redemption deals with Milwaukee deals, because of how often they give away the 12 amp hour batterys, (if you look into the reviews of them there have been so many negative experiences)
The 6 amp hour high output batterys have been great though
Because you got paid off $$$
We know its true
Milwaukee, Makita, Bosch, or Dewalt... Which brand is better OVERALL? Someone should sponser an annual all-out tournament with experienced craftsmen using tools from all four platforms to finally settle this endless debate...😅😅
ОтветитьYou really need to stop using the word everyone.
ОтветитьI switched to Makita battery tools with no regrets. I have 18 volt and some stuff uses two 18 volt batteries at a time.
ОтветитьMy dream is to have a makita miter saw with AWS, running to a makita dust extractor
ОтветитьAt my workplace majority of gear is Milwaukee and very few makita, biggest problem with Milwaukee is the way the battery connnects to tools. Our tools cop an absolute flogging, after time the Milwaukee tools don't attach to the batterys as well and power cuts out. Long term Makita any day of the week.
ОтветитьAs a carpenter I use dewalt, millwaukee, makita, even festool. I used to have different batteries and tools. Its a personal choice which brand or brands and all have their + and -, but in general all tools are Professional made and good.
ОтветитьIve been running 18v makita tools for about 12 years. There great, i have over 50 makita tools. The only issues ive had are with the multi tools. Ive probably had 8-10 of them iver the years. Dewalt and Milwaukee especially are SO UNCOMFORTABLE in the hand. Its like the designers and engineers never even put the tool in their hands. All my Makita tools fit my hand like a glove and give me complete confidence in the task at hand.
ОтветитьTheres like 10k videos on "why I stop buying dewalt, and went to milwaukee" etc etc lmao so funny.
ОтветитьResidential electrician and I use M12 tools and Makita 18v. Makita has a way larger tool line for the 18v platform. Going to be investing in Makita 40v tools soon.
ОтветитьWhen is the XGT table saw coming!
ОтветитьI have both platforms as well and some hikoki/metabo hpt. They all make good tools. The makita saws are nicer than milwaukee i have the 40v miter saws the small one and the 12 inch. Milwaukee makes better nail guns so does
metabo hpt/hikoki. The aws is the best part about makita i have the adapter i use with a corded vac. and have 4 AWS chips so i set up multiple tools with dust collection.
I figured you just wanted the tools to match the blue wood you use.
ОтветитьCan add this to the discussion. All my 10yo Makita tools were caught in an unexpected weather event recently and were completely submerged in their plastic tubs for about 48 hours until rescued. I was devastated, and prepared to replace everything, but to my utter amazement, all the tools, batteries and eventually chargers dried out and began working again. 9 months later and all are fine and working as well as ever. I did buy a couple of new batteries and a charger just as a offering to the Makita Gods for their beneficence. Changing brands would be sacrilege for me after all that!
ОтветитьThank you for this honest review
ОтветитьMilwaukee is overpriced Red Ryobi.
ОтветитьI completely agree, I had the same problem with Milwaukee, most of their high output are weak, unreliable mostly the 12.0, and the circular saw 7 1/4 fails a lot, over a year I switched to Makita 40v and its amazing, the 40v Saw its the best and I haven't had any issue with the batteries, the charger charges fast and has dual fans its just amazing
Ответитьpeople talk alot about the power and shit but my 9 years as a construction worker with makita there hasnt been anything im not able to do. so then it comes down to price for me honestly.
ОтветитьGo with 4ah batteries no matter what platform. They're lighter and sold more frequently so the assembly line cranks more quality control resources into them. I've seen many higher amperage issues from various platforms. You're just gonna need a couple banks of 4ampers charging at any one time
ОтветитьWhy spend 30% more for a tool that may perform a little better than less expensive tool?
ОтветитьI love ur channel !! Soooo helpful and resourceful 💪👌👍
ОтветитьI’m undecided. I have both, Milwaukee (Fuel) drills & Makita saws 🤷🏽♂️
ОтветитьBad choice. Been through them all. Milwaukee is the only brand that excels and last!!!!!!!
ОтветитьMakita ...good value for the money.
ОтветитьYou can buy battery adapters so you can run different brand batteries on other tools. Obviously they have to be the same voltage.
ОтветитьThis year I starting getting all new tools on M12 and XGT. Those two cover all bases. Still have some LXT but phasing it out.
M12 for compact
XGT for power, dust collection, all the track ready tools, and 80v future proof
Ryobi 18/16 nailers (slower budget M18 basically), lights/fans to burn cheaper lithium, non-important tools, and household non-tools
