Can't wait for the same type of video for the USA.
O wait u won't the $$ must keep flowing
Instead the US wasted billions upon billions in wars, destruction and victorious retreats from Afghanistan... but its cool because you are the good guys huh...
ОтветитьLove the content and knowledge you have shared, feel more connected to my fellow humans all over ❤😊the world
ОтветитьThe US saves so much when it reduces its reliance on foreign oil. Saves the environment also. Which of course provides a positive impact on everyone’s health.
ОтветитьHas the US highway system ever made profit? Who said public infrastructure was supposed to be profitable?
ОтветитьVery funny! $850B is investment that creats relate property. $2T has nothing. This is different between china and us for debt
ОтветитьRegulation problem the government need to cut unnecessary regulation but don’t do like trump and get rid of everything
ОтветитьBefore long, there will be one dirty, dirty train running every day with no one to use it. Same fate as a ghost town.
ОтветитьYour short sighted vision based on short sighted monetary returns are exactly the reason why western countries are always years and decades behind on our infrastructure needs. What you fail to understand is how infrastructure stimulates other development like decentralization of housing away from mega cities. Core issues like affordable housing, quality of life for people and access to labour for companies are solved by connecting regional cities with affordable housing to large cities with jobs.
ОтветитьThese are idiotic arguments, as an Australian you should know that none of our Australian public transport systems are profitable, in which case by your own argument we should dismantle all of our public transport services. You should really try to spend your energy sorting out your own backyard before trying to comment on someone else's.
ОтветитьOne important thing to understand is that not everything in a country should be for profit. Education, transportation, health care and housing should be affordable and available for everyone and it’s the responsibility of the government to make sure of that. That’s why we pay taxes
ОтветитьMost big infrastructure projects around the world are unprofitable. the real benefit is in the money spent in construction , operation...etc which creates many jobs and boost GDP
ОтветитьSuch a stupid video. No wonder US is going down the gut.
ОтветитьJealousy detected

ОтветитьWestern country "Calculator" cannot count "SOCIAL BENEFIT" ???
ОтветитьThe mighty English engineers were going to build HS2 for 25 times the cost per mile than Chinese high rail. Now the UK conservative government has cancelled HS2 and is going backwards. The UK can’t waste money on maintenance because they did not build anything but pissed the money away.😂
Ответитьhow much is chinas reserve???
ОтветитьChina is utilizing the money on its infrastructure which is not a waste . At present China is building state of the art cities in China .
Ответить"Pointing to China as the place that just gets things done isn't the best way to highlight how useless our governments are..."
Yea, except UK couldn't even manage to get 300km of HS2 completed. So even with all of China's problem taken into account, UK is still pretty freaking useless. A friend of mine told me that HS2 had already spaffed out a lot of money with land acquisitions in the North before that section of the line was pulled.
Meanwhile, I have travelled to Beijing from Hong Kong in 2019 and then recently did a 2500 km tour, covering cities like Wuhan, Xi'an, Chengdu, Chongqing.
I mean everyone can end up losing money but, my god, UK can't even get something to show for it.
Over the last thirty years, five of the G8 largest advanced economies have built high speed rail networks (Japan, Germany, France, Italy and Spain) and three have not (the USA, the UK and Canada). With one sole exception (Spain) the countries which built high speed rail networks have all grown more slowly than the ones which did not. Spain has indeed performed better than most of its peers, but it started from a lower base and remains by some margin the poorest country in the G8.There are of course many factors which affect a nation's economic performance, but it cannot be claimed that high speed rail is a prerequisite for prosperity.
ОтветитьChina's investment to its populace. What has the US invested into it's population other than poverty, war, lies, and false promises from its politicians?
ОтветитьYeah great, I’ve got Big Brother Winnie the Pooh tracking my every movement, click, spend, public thought, or action, ready to throw me in jail if I say the wrong thing, but at least that suspension bridge got built quickly. 🤦♂️
ОтветитьBullet trains are here for show off only... Will prefer Planes which travels at an average of 800 kmph in stead of bullets that runs with an average of 250 with thousands of stoppage
ОтветитьOne of the differences between a democracy and a dictatorship. Maybe Xi can just issue a decree or two and put everything right😂😂😂
Ответитьchina dint usta let the thieves print the money...
china dint usta have debt..
china usta have sovereign wealth funds...with which china usta buy OUR BONDS
looks like the skunks used bribery & BLACKMAIL to let central banksters.. rotten fella and rotten child control origination of yuan... china no longer wants our T bonds
Er, you might want to have a little rethink on what the Hoover Dam and hundreds like it worldwide have done to the natural flow of rivers, and as for producing electricity at the Hoover Dam, have you seen the level of Lake Mead of late?
ОтветитьAren't you forgetting all of Chinas toefudreg projects where poor workmanship ,materials , corner cutting corruption and bribery are the norm
How many bridges, buildings roads and other infrastructure has broken down ,fallen off or just collapsed in the first sign of wind ,water or earth quake?
Just because China slaps it in record time doesn't mean it safe or won't fall down 5 minutes later
ok,so what if they downgrade the train to be semi high speed,so they can save on the maintenance, surely it wont need the same maintenance standard of HSR?
ОтветитьThe west has been shielded from major economic problems by the "endless" dollar and historic profits from poor countries. Which makes what China is doing for its people more impressive .
ОтветитьCCP are sneaks and liars. All you need to know.
ОтветитьI wish mistreated dogs could call me each time, I'd joint with a hammer
ОтветитьUS: see? if you don't have high speed rail, you don't have debt on it! I told you!
ОтветитьDONT YOU KNOW CHINA ECONOMY IS NOW WORLD NO.2 , SOON IN 2030 IT WILL BE WORLD NO.1.🤪😜😛
ОтветитьYou should worry more about US debt rather than the debt that the railways create in China.
ОтветитьUS have got a worse debt problem than China.
ОтветитьYeah yeah yeah .....
ОтветитьThanks for the CCP, the communist party will bankrupt Mainland China.
Ответитьlol, it's amazing how certain people (generalized as americans) forgot what "investment" means nowadays, they forgot how their infrastructure was once built to nowhere too, just like their railways and country wide routes, it takes time for it to come to fruition.
Ответитьall they need is chinese companies with excellent engineers, to build these infrastructures. if africans can built these , so can U.S-AUSTRALIA
ОтветитьThe problem with Chinese High Speed Rail is that it’s cheaper and quicker to fly.
I live here and would much rather take HSR than fly or drive. However the HSR is always more expensive and slower than one of the other two options.
Its fast its good.. thats all.. end of story
ОтветитьIf they lose it they still have infrastructure, but if the US lose it they still have Ukraine. 😂
Ответить“China has a debt problem” is something that happens when western commentators try to analyze China’s actions using the rules of western economics, not how it actually works in China.
ОтветитьDebt grossly underestimated
ОтветитьIt's pronounced "root". A rout is a collapse of an army or an American trying to say route. Both are a disaster.
ОтветитьThis is a video from a year ago, although I just saw it. I'm sorry to see so many people's messages from a year ago. Because many friends do not understand the situation of China's high-speed rail. In fact it has come close to a catastrophe. China Railway Corporation alone has 6 trillion in debt. In addition, local governments with high-speed railways in various places are also heavily in debt. Especially in today's economic downturn, it has become a heavy burden on local finances.
Let's put it this way, there are only three or four lines of high-speed rail that can make money in our country. Others, let alone selling them to others, even giving them away for free, I guess no one wants them. I am not exaggerating at all. Because no one can afford it.
