Cool beat in the video. Never gets to the point. 🤷🏽♂️
ОтветитьGreat video! The ending is deep and unsettling, but true. The economy runs purely on our desire to "be someone" - an ideal. Today we have more choices than ever before and also more anxiety. More comparisons. More pressure. It's ironic that we'd probably be happier if we had less.

ОтветитьWow!
ОтветитьI was very successful in 100% commission ad sales when I was younger. I got to work with many businesses of various sizes and Scopes. I understand the value and reality of stake holder capitalism. I also remember working with muscular dystrophy patients and how valuable proper ADA certifications are to families. And, working as a volunteer at a suicide prevention call center… there’s not a lot of “markup” or “margin”, on keeping people attached to a world which can be very unfeeling… but, the family’s would certainly find Value in that work.
Sectors and markets matter.
name the movies shown in this example?

ОтветитьMadison Avenue is more successful at shaping our cultural values than we usually care to know or talk about. Corporations, through advertising, have taken over the role of both the church and government! We conform to the norm so we don't become ostracised or eaten! If you subscribe to what everybody else subscribes to, you won't stand out for possible ridicule, nay, definite ridicule. The subject of stand-up comedians is usually the marginalised, already the easy targets of low-hanging fruit. Comedians usually punch downward, with the notable exception of George Carlin. R.I.P.
Today we are considered successful if we display relatively rare things for others to see. Our quest for exclusivity is our collective life's work. However, what's good for the corporation is not necessarily good for the community's mental health. Now, you are considered a moral reprobate, deserving of violent punishment if you are not interested in or able to purchase status symbols sufficiently impressive for the jury of public. What's that? Mob rule? Stupid crowd rule? The president should be able to be a poor person, for instance, if they were sane, genuine people of good character, but NO! We all know we, the people, will never allow it. Individually we are smart, but collectively we are drooling half-wits! Myself included, of course. 🤪🤡🎭
You're boring, I learned nothing... What about the psychology behind bad advertising?
Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьI hope the devil has a place for all people that shove their crap ads onto every single thing. F*** all you advertisers.
ОтветитьMy dream is to be an advertiser 🙂
ОтветитьPro tip for aspiring artists and story teller GO INTO ADVERTISING AND GET GOOD AT IT people *will not* listen to you otherwise.

ОтветитьThere is no such thing as good avertising! advertising wants to control us and our money!they waste our time and take our attention away from more important aspects of life! advertsing sucks all in favor like this comment!
ОтветитьOK - IM SOLD
ОтветитьThat Giorgio Armani commercial was so good that I ended up buying the cologne
ОтветитьI love Don Draper 👹
Ответитьits amazing that people still actually watch commericals with adblockers and DVR. I honestly haven't seen one for about 10 years
ОтветитьThat was a great video! I'm an ad copywriter myself that was thinking of doing something similar, but can't figure out the part about getting copyright strikes. How did you manage to put all those ads in the video?
Ответитьgay adventure😂
ОтветитьI liked the first perfume ad wayy better because it focused on the woman's feeling about herself whereas the second one, clearly, is not meant to attract women but to attract men. Like male gaze to the extreme. "Etereal beauty?" no. "Sex object," yes.
ОтветитьAdvertisement is art on making them feel the need that they don't. There is no mind but only needs and compulsions.
ОтветитьThe digger one deeps into these things the closer you start to understand everything that has been going on

ОтветитьCan you link all the advertisements you used? I'd like to analyze them one at a time
ОтветитьGreat video man, it is really spot on! You nailed it with the Emotional response versus the Thought response, and how much better in certain cases, if an ad campaign can effectively combine the two! Such as in the Giorgio Armani, and many movie trailers.
ОтветитьGreat post. One key in emotional marketing is the use of music. It enhances the experience and ties your emotions to the content.
Ответитьthank you <3
ОтветитьAdvertising is the first disgusting accepted lies. I believe all else folloes. Intrusive. Lies, and forced on the entire public. 2nd is lobbyists who bribes congress. totally acceptable but empty of conscience. Thisus the root problem. Lies if you can afford the sick commercial.
ОтветитьIm in crisis mode because I cannot watch this video and pay attention to what he's saying. I guess I'm also learning that I am a visual learner because I know I can't just listen to what he says on its own. I feel so uncomfortable in my body right now because I'm discouraged from watching the video, but I want the information I know it has.
ОтветитьPeople watch the game only to see the advertising! Can you believe it?
ОтветитьYou are conflating, "good" with, "effective", just because a startegy is effective doesn't make it good. Advertising is a horrible, manipulative practice. It hijacks your brain and if it doesn't directly influence you, it will get you through your peers. It is ther reason we consume stuff we don't need and constantly feel unsatisfied, even as our lust for shiny things destroys the world we live in. My child finds colourful labels and catchy jingles irresistable, and I despise it. Get the f--k out of my head and that of my childs, it is a war on actual free-will and self-determination, designed to steer culture as a whole in a greedy profiteering direction by exploiting our most base instincts for personal gain!
ОтветитьThat second fragrance ad really works at having an impact on you.
ОтветитьIt seems the key thing to draw from this is SHOW, DON'T TELL. It's difficult to express value through logical words. It is easy to FEEL value through emotional words or visuals.
