An interesting detail I hadn’t considered (and heard someone point out on a podcast) is that Jonas arrives in 1921 just two days after Bartosz is killed by Noah. If he had been left alive, he may have tried to warn Jonas of what was going on with Adam, his friends being stuck in the past, etc. Or even stop him outright. Bartosz needed to be taken out of the picture so Adam could manipulate Jonas without any interference.

DARK was one hell of a masterpiece

In the beginning I was like " this Bartosz guy seems like he may be bad news" but I started feeling bad for him half way through. You think because he is in this role of having the " privileged family" tht he's a punk but he's not. They make it seem he's a snake at the beginning for going out with Martha but her and Jonas weren't even going out to begin with. You wanna root for Jonas but he basically is..definitely his mother's son, reaching full form later on.

he must be in his 40-50 in this scene and his life must be super stressful with all stuff, but he kept going and didn't kill himself unlike mikkel

Amazing this scene, now I understand that Bartosz did not have even the energy to kill himself; he totally lost any wish to live. Stucked there since 1880, almost 30 years there, knowing that all the future was already written, and anyway he wanted to come back to his time but he ended up surrending to the fact that his time was condemned to be destroyed. Even when he was the father of Hanno (noah) and Agnes, he lost his woman (siljia), so what was the motivation to live?, he already knew what was the Noah's and Agne's destiny to keep the infinite cycle. Adam controlled everybody giving them hope that this knot would be solved, but Bartosz was the only one who lost precisely the main ingredient that Adam needed to control everything: hope.

Just watched the privilege and its so strange seeing them again as father and son but in an entirely different setting

Id like to think of it as if bartosz never went back to the past and continue his life normally but still had noah as his son lol

I am honestly disturbed by the stabbing noises of the pickaxe, it sounded so real and not exaggerated

So basically Bartosz had Noah with his greatgrandmother's daughter becaus claudia is his grandmother and Silja is daughter of Egon and Hannah. Everyone's match is wrong in this series.
Like it would blow my mind figuring out the whole relationship..

Didn't like Bartosz in season 1. But then this character grew on me afterwards that I'm even glad he beaten up Jonas again in the rain. His relevance to the story is just as important.

I honestly loved Bartosz’s character from the beginning to the end. He went through a lot in the future and in the past. I hated it when his ‘friends’ tied him up and left him in the cave all by himself. I honestly disliked (more like hated) blond haired Martha because of this. Just when he fell in love, had a kid and a family. Adam comes and takes everything away from. His entire life’s only purpose was to start the Nielson family line. He truly deserved better. Now at least he’s at peace because there’s nothing. No Bartosz.

first time i saw this i immediately knew its somehow bartosz, the cast is incredible, everyone looks like their older and younger versions

Before the revelation, í've seen them as partners.
Now, i know that Noah killed his own father Bartosz.
