I just received mine. But my thread on spool pin is u threading 😅 like too much. I want to use waterproof thread poly titan smth but its not suitable or i just do smth wrong😅
ОтветитьI didn't know the little hole before the tension disk needed to be threaded en route to the bobbin winder. I was also inserting the bobbin case while holding the little lever open, and I didn't know about the click.
I wonder if you should update this video regarding the frequency of oiling, since your more recent one says every 3 months is sufficient, as opposed to the user manual which has us oiling the machine much too frequently.
I do not have my Juki machine yet; but I am watching lots of videos to get to know it before it arrives (in 4 or 5 days, so excited). I'm getting the Haruka TL 18, yay!!! Thanks for the very informative video. Much appreciated.
ОтветитьI got a juki 2000qi for Christmas brand new in the box. It has caused me nothing but headaches. Due to me being ignorant mostly. So I got the tension set and then when I started to sew it started skipping stitches.I read that the hook timing was off and so I adjusted the needle arm and now it's not stitching at all. It will move but it won't pick up my bobbin thread and I'm frustrated because I'm not used to all this work to be able to sit and sew. Help please!
ОтветитьHELP! HELP! HELP!
Hello everyone! I've had a Juki TL 2200 QVP Mini for over 2 years now. It used to work absolutely fine until one day it didn't. I mean, it frequently skips one or two stiches in a row, sometimes it's even more than that. There's no regularity to it.
At first I thought it was with a specific kind of fabric since it worked fine with other fabrics, then it started happening on other fabrics as well. I tried everything, changing the needle, modifying the foot tension. I played with the stich length, modified both thread a bobin tension. I clean it as regularly as I can, oil it with the right kind of oil and nothing has worked so far.
It stopped happening for a few months and started again about a month ago.
I tried to explain my problem on a few sewist groups on Facebook with photos of the problem, and everyone gave me basic advice such as "change your needle, rethread your machine, try with a different fabric"...
I just wanted to ask, has anyone had that problem (and fixes it) or does my machine need to go to the shop?
Sorry for the vent, I just love this machine so much... I'm a bit worried. Thanks for the help.
Is it possible that my juki 2000 qvp has forgotten its stitch patterns? I can’t seem to choose the pattern numbers
ОтветитьI needed to know about the tension. The instructions n manual are very basic.
ОтветитьMy needle threader now only cuts the top thread. I cleaned around the mechanism but still have the issue. Any thoughts?
ОтветитьHey! I'm trying to find a Juki DX3! Do you know how I can purchase one?
ОтветитьThis machine way too labor intensive
Ответитьwhat is an industrial thread? I understand thread size, but this sounds like something else. thanks.
ОтветитьMy thread cutter cuts every time I start quilting with out me pushing the button. Help
ОтветитьMy bobbin keeps falling out of bobbin case when I attempt to insert it?
ОтветитьI haven’t had any challenges yet. I bought my machine last month and am learning all the things.😀
ОтветитьGreat video,,I just got my juki
ОтветитьSo much trouble with auto threader😢
ОтветитьI don't have a Juki yet, I am not sure which one I should be getting, so I will contact you. But, that said, this is an outstanding video! Great tips and insights! (i.e., threading with the pressure foot down, and setting the upper tension with the foot down. While these tips make sense, as a self-taught sewer I never knew this and didn't necessarily do it that way.) The filming in this video is excellent for teaching and explaining too! I really appreciate that. The oiling of the hook, or where the bobbin case gets inserted - "the 2nd ledge" and showing it zoomed in while spreading out the oil was so well demonstrated and communicated! These tips are valuable for all sewers! Thank you so very much. I am not so afraid of a long distance purchase of such an investment. Your support is outstanding! Thank you!!
ОтветитьHey thanks sooooo much for your videos. I went from freemotion quilting back to regular sewing and the reverse button was stuck. I just need to turn ine more button and rada! Found my error.
ОтветитьWell, dang!!! That was so helpful. I've had my Juki for years and I learned so much just watching this. Thank you. You've actually made me more comfortable with my machine by providing these tips.
ОтветитьI recenly got my Juki TL 2010Q and just cant get the needle threader to work even after watching many videos😢
ОтветитьThank you- learned so much- been using my Juki for a year now and wondered why the sewing wasn't as pretty as I thought it should be. Learned a lot.
ОтветитьPlease tell new users about the foot petal. I was not using mine properly, and it was cutting my thread instead of sewing. I've been sewing for 60 years. This is my 1st juki
I'm a bear foot sewer.
I absolutely love my Juki 2010. However, with all the problems with the needle threader I would think that Juki would catch on to the fact that the needle threader NEEDS improvement. I also have a husquavarna viking and have never had problems with it. I have given up on my crappy Juki needle threader. Please Juki improve the threader!
ОтветитьBurning through bobbin? Been sewing 56 years and Ive never heard that statement.
ОтветитьHow to make correct the tensions please
ОтветитьMost of this is from the manual. I still can't get the automatic threader to work and in this video you didn't even thread the needle which is what the feature is for.
ОтветитьThank you. I didn't know how to properly fill my bobbin
ОтветитьExcellent video! Thanks so much!
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the oil pen you used to oil the bobbin area please?
ОтветитьI have had my Juki Tl18 for a few years now. I love her. I would oil everywhere more than I did the bobbin area. Today my top stitches were off. I did everything several times and still not right. I was putting the bobbin in with the door opened and not oiling it as much. It won't click at all. I ordered a new bobbin case to see if that fixes the problem. Fingers crossed. 🤞 Will be oiling it more often and closing the door. Thank you for such an informative video. It will be my go to, God forbid any issues come up.
ОтветитьOiling my TL2000 as much as you mention in this video landed my machine in the shop, lol. I would back off a bit on oiling it THAT much, especially if you use the automatic thread cutter, like I do.
ОтветитьI learn something new on each video by you, David! I've had my TL-2000 for 5 years and have never put the thread through either hole when winding my bobbins. Only through tension disc. I'll try it next time, though. Thank you!
Ответитьwhen i use the automatic thread cutter on my TL machine it always pulls the thread out of my needle. what am i doing wrong
Ответитьwhy is the 2010 threaded different then the 2000 what you just showed is totally different then what is in the manual for the TL2000
ОтветитьThanks so much!!!
ОтветитьThank you!! My bobbin thread kept breaking and this is my first sewing machine like this so I couldn't figure it out. Did all the tips in this video 😂 working perfectly now. Such great information! I really appreciate it.
ОтветитьVery helpful tips - guilty of using bobbin door to close! lol My TL18 started to skip stitches and I replaced needle, bobbin and bobbin case already. Still skipping😢 Any tips? Thank you!!!
ОтветитьWhat is the spring lever in the bobbin area called? It is supposed to lay down flat, but mine just decided to come up. Now it is blocking the bobbin case from going in. I have to move the black spring down to insert my bobbin. Then when I try to sew, my machine jams. I’m trying to google a solution but I can’t find any info about what that piece is called. It is the black spring arm in the bobbin area. You can see it in your video when you discuss inserting the bobbin.
ОтветитьYes, agree with norma. You filled in the fuzzy spots for me. Thanks.
ОтветитьThis was an outstanding video! Excellent content and clear, precise instructions! I am very impressed and this was an enormous help!
ОтветитьThis is an excellent video. Thank you. I learned a ton and have saved it for future reference.
ОтветитьGlad I found your channel, I've had a juki for 3 years, and some stuff I suck at, like threading the needle 😢
ОтветитьI'm having issues with skipped stitches, after watching this there are some things i've been doing wrong, and I think it's fixed🤩
ОтветитьWhat would be causing my thread to break every 4 or 5" of sewing? Also is it possible for the timing to be off on this machine? The needles also go in quite hard. They need to be wiggled quite a bit to be inserted. What would correct this? Thank you. Loved this video.
ОтветитьI love you guys it took me two years of quilting and sewing to get a Juki. You help me keep sewing with your informative videos.
ОтветитьMy 2010 is not picking up the bobbin thread. How to fix it?
ОтветитьI have neglected the bobbin area and never oiled it because I was afraid I would do it in the wrong spot. Thank you for clarifying!
ОтветитьLove your content! Hey which semi-industrial Juki do you guys recommend for furniture upholstery?
ОтветитьI have a TL 2010q and to wind the bobbin, my manual doesn’t say to put the thread into the tinny hole before going around the disk then thread it into the bobbin on the right. Yours looks better doing it that way.
