How do they do the live scenes they look so real

Did I hear that right....there will be a Season 8 ?!? When? Sam and Caitrona as a unit are my favorites, but the entire cast is really great.

Such a fabulous series. As an American, I love having access to British projects like this.

Caitríona Balfe (Claire) has the magical, eyes that sometimes dance, and sometimes wage war. And of course Sam as Jamie.

Graham McTavish as Dougal MacKenzie, Stephen Walters as Angus Mhor, and Andrew Gower as Prince Charles Edward Stuart were just a few of the many less prominent actors I really enjoyed. Angus" death at Prestopans was heart breaking. I also really liked .

Superb casting. This is why there should be an academy award for casting director.

The gals Cait & Soph not able to nap between scenes?? OMG ladies, that's 😢 but wigs & corsets 12-15 hours a day has to be so uncomfortable!
And the antedotes about the kids screaming & crying during active takes was funny 😂
Sam & Cait cracking up at losing their lines is always hilarious 🤣

Catriona is fantastic. Watching her act is an absolute pleasure. She is always Claire, never falters. And she's one of those rare actors who can show so much emotion with facial expressions without looking like she's doing it. Yes, that makes no sense but another actor probably knows what I mean. Those first seasons had so many incredible actors.

I think the most interesting character in Outlander is Roger. He was most certainly the “accidental tourist” of the whole saga. Following Bree through the stones (who he really didn’t know well at all) and getting immediately outcasted for several months before his imminent rescue took a lot of courage, determination and faith. I marvel at the hoops he’s had to go through and continue to be intrigued with his story line.

This is not to say that I don’t love Jamie and Clare— after all there would be no story without them!
