As a digital artist it's still kind of painful to watch the AI stuff.
What was a skill that took me a long time to master has been completely obliterated with regards to work.

I work as a self employed illustrator on many licensed projects, but work has been getting slower, even for concept art for TV series games and movies.

In a couple of clicks or words, the job is done and sometimes extremely convincing results.
It's extremely worrying for somebody in my trade which I thought I would never see replaced so soon

I've been using this Generative AI for over a year. I'm just an amateur button masher versus pro, but you're spot on. This Generative AI is just addictive. Sometimes the images are completely jacked up, and other times just mind blowing. Mor the latter than the former unless your image is small.

The Generative AI needs to have a spell check added. They can figure out how to match millions of pixels, each at millions of pixels, so spell check should be a breeze. :0)

Phlearn absolutely fell off. Now everything is "lasso tool, text box, AI slop".

At this point it doesn't make any sense to have "Release your inner artist" as the channel description.

honestly, many of those AI images were simply bad ...(the second example for sure) - made me stop watching the rest. Clearly not your fauilt, its just AI is still not there in Photoshop
