RGBA & HSLA
ОтветитьKevin, I tried to do your 10 box floating demo, but couldn't get multiple boxes to appear. So I tried a few dummy characters inside the div tag and the box appeared. Then I tried making every box have an explicit and separate closing div tag. That final thing worked. I thought <div></div> is the same as <div/>, but it somehow is not. What's going on with that? Btw, I suggest you separate the css used for each thing so that only the CSS related to current topic discussed is shown. It might be confusing otherwise. Thank you for your videos though! I hate CSS but you make it less painful!
ОтветитьThanks for this video and its clarity.

ОтветитьThanks for a easy tutorial
Ответитьguys it works in chrome without the a. I did it by mistake, rgb(255, 0, 0, .25); and it worked so i guess there was an update :)
Ответитьhow is 'background' property different from 'background-color'?
ОтветитьIs there a way around the opacity text issue if I want to use hex? Or should I just switch over rgb and call it a day lol
ОтветитьEasy and clear .. Thank you , Kevin .
ОтветитьHey kevin sir, Is it necessary to remember how hsl work or we can habitual with just either rgba or hex one?
ОтветитьThanks man!
ОтветитьExcellent video. I was trying to change the opacity/transparency on my navigation bar and the navigation text kept changing the opacity along with the navigation bar color. It was driving me nuts. After this video I learned that I can use RGBA colors on the navigation bar to change the opacity of the color without changing the text color. Thank you Kevin! ОтветитьHey thank you very very much for these tutorials, it has been helping me a lot. I had a question though.
is it possible to make a picture inside a box be a link?
As of now I made the picture cover my box, then i made it float to have more then one and added a block to make it the link under my picture,
but the problem is positioning of it. I have to put margins until it reaches under the pic I want it to be. But when the webpage is smaller than my screen, its not postioned well anymore.
So Buitiful
Ответитьphotoshop people knows that color wheel works with hsl..... so if you wants to know hsl , go for color wheel first... three dimensional color wheel
ОтветитьColor picker and rgba are the best hint in the video.
Ответитьthanks kevin
