I think this video misses one crucial thing: music is made to be enjoyed. The whole point of art is for people to enjoy, whether that be the creator enjoying making it or people enjoying observing/listening to/watching it. It doesn’t need to be thought-provoking, deep, groundbreaking or super original/never-done-before. It just needs to be enjoyable to someone. And this negative, hyper-critical video which doesn’t provide any sort of helpful feedback reinforces the idea that music has to be a certain way - saturating the music sphere and giving people the idea that all music has to be some rich narrative spun across a 10 song album.
