❤years ago they wanted to build a water storage lake on top of a mountain in Newburg n y that would pump water up from the river below to the new lake ! Then let water flow down to the river below to produce electricity for day use ! It was turned down by environmentalists and now there is no clean energy production ! Crazy !

That sure was an interesting dam video. It was choked full of dam information and dam construction techniques. I will most likely never use any of the dam information because I'm not a dam builder, more of dam consumer, but I really liked the dam video.

Can you imagine the hoops and red tape you'd have to go through in order to build something like that in the US. It would take longer to get government permission in the US than it would take the chinese to design, get permitting and build. The US has lost its way.
