ОтветитьJessie, even the people that invented English, speak English with different accents... In England one of the accents is known as a Cockney Accent, then there's the East End accent and the Northern accents... So there is no correct accent for English because even in the Native country they have different accents

ОтветитьHello everyone! I'm looking for an English language partner to practice my English speaking and listening skills. I'm a native Chinese speaker and I'd be happy to help you practice Chinese in return.
I'm an English learner and I'm looking for someone who is patient and willing to have a conversation with me on a regular basis. I'd like to improve my fluency and vocabulary in English, and I believe that having a language partner would be very helpful.
If you're interested in practicing your Chinese and helping me improve my English, please feel free to leave a comment or send me a message. I'm open to chatting online, voice calls or video calls, whichever works best for you.
Looking forward to hearing from you and improving our language skills together!
Is it better/practical/more usefull to start learning simplified of traditional chinese ? (I believe that both is incredibly hard to learn🥺🙈)

very informative and love your personality!! Im really into languages and learning them and in hand learning about the people who speak it, where its spoken, culture, etc. So, ive been wanting to learn Mandarin Chinese after i reached intermediate Korean (which im SLOWLY approaching) and decided to start up on researching how i can go about that and just make sure im educated enough to proceed, so thank you for helping with this video:)
ОтветитьThank you very much!
ОтветитьLol your accent is more intelligible than some broad Scottish accents, I’m a kiwi and even kiwis and aussies can sometimes have very bizarre English accents, your English is very clear.

ОтветитьLearning a bit of Korean necessitated retraining my American ears to hear Korean consonants. It sounds like Mandarin has both vowel and consonant sounds that will be new to me.😱

ОтветитьHi, Jessie! I've been watching your videos since I discovered your channel and I must say it's really entertaining and informative at the same time. Can we be friends on WeChat? 😂
ОтветитьAmerican English doesn't have a spoken standard test. For British English, there is the "King's Englisn" standard. The BBC also has standards of how to speak so you sound like a stuffy newscaster.
