How To Create A Splash Screen - Python Tkinter GUI Tutorial #139

My images are not working in the the main_window only labels and buttons would work, perhaps show me how or maybe us😂

Seems to be a problem with the mainloop its giving me an error "unresolved reference to 'mainloop' "

I need destroy splash_screen after loaded main screen. I dont want to set a sleep time.

_tkinter.TclError: bitmap "C:/gui/codemy.ico" not defined

splash.geometry is not definined

Instead of mainloop(), just tried splash_root.mainloop() and it works as well. Do you know which is best and why?

Sir I have tried to make a splash screen a type of intro in which I used canvas and animating a photo in that, I faced two errors:

1) After 'root.overrideredirect(True)', my intro window didn't came at center of the screen like yours, it shifted to top left corner with anchor='nw' and

2) My Intro screen (Or canvas) didn't destroy and didn't show me my 2nd window

So plz help me SIR!!!!!!!!!

Hmmmm... When I do the overrideredirect code, the splash screen starts in the left side of the screen, destroys, then the main window opens in the right. How would I fix this?

guys i have a problem it doesnt let me finish my code with just the mainloop() function the program wants me to put root.mainloop() and that is the thing stopping my program can someone help me?

This would be better if you followed PEP8 guidelines for the import. It's also not great to be encouraging people to create more than one instance of Tk. While harmless for a splash screen, it teaches a bad habit that can cause problems in more complex applications.

Hey, if tou put a error messagebox inside the" def main_window (): "it will show a message and then it will open an empty tkinter window automatically.
