home screen widgets don't really allow specific input, do they? I mean other than launching the main app.

This is just about ui development with some api calls. Flutter developers are not developers they are just designers. Create a framework for developers.

Yeah, I'll wait for actual Flutter support. Hopefully it wont be long, and there's Windows 11 widget support when that actually happens.
