How to pronounce the ‘R’ sound in English: Tips & Practice

Gentleman, im 26 and when i cant pronounce R correctly.
Is it possible with practice to actually fix it after so many years?
Is there anyone who has actually succeded?

there is nothing difficult about the r letter sound, only lazy speakers.

That seems wrong light?

This really helped me since English isn't my native language.

January, February and library have been and still are ones of those nightmare'ish words to pronounce, lol.

I'm a native speaker and this was always hard for me, I also can't roll my it haha

I really struggle with pronouncing the "r" in words like "word", "world" and also in words where "r" is at the end, so I basically sound like someone who's faking a stereotypical british accent and I don't like to hear that accusation be thrown at me... to be clear, accent-shaming is bad, but I'm not exclusively motivated by shame, it just bugs me when I can't pronounce something and this was very helpful

Especially relating "d" to "r" was really, really helpful

i always struggle with r’s when they’re close together i.e churro, Rory, squirrel etc and it’s so frustrating because technically english is my first language but when i was young i was bilingual so i wonder if that’s why my pronunciation is off

i speak english fluently. i was born in canada and it’s all i’ve ever spoken. however, i’ve never been able to pronounce my ‘R’ correctly. for those of you struggling to, it is okay. there are fluent english speakers out there that STILL struggle with their R pronunciation. :) but, i believe in you!
