24/7/23 RHIM JHIM…..

Last evenings extra wsky seems to be a drag now, but yesterday sitting over the drizzle in the rain alone with myself a third glass of wsky in hand, moments just pass by…. into the imperceptible, my mind is filled with so many feelings. I find myself humming, not to music, but to something else, someplace else.

I could have been sitting there for some time, strangely it started pouring heavily overwhelming everything around. There was no point giving up, I sat through it, the wind, the cold breeze, the dance of the leaves and not so fortunate earthly creatures that would have been out by now signing into a discordant note…. I thought. The pour came with a fiercer gush of wind making its presence felt, all that was usual was merging into the whole, small earthly depressions which were pools of water a little while ago lost their identities and drained into an overflowing channel carrying with itself the remains of the destroyed.

Remember loosely pulling up to the amplifier kept in the veranda and switching it on a red light blinked, struggling to search “rim jim gire sawan” on the mobile, …. misus asleep woke up to the full blast of rim jhim sawan…

“Arree …! Pagla gaye ho Kiya..? I didn’t give a damn. That was yesterday.

Today as usual woke up to many thoughts…., sipping lemon juice to get around the hang …. starring into the wild, I see a leaf falling from the tree, the wind blew it or was it .. the tree got tired of carrying it and let it go or the leaf itself got tired holding on ..?? New realities .., still newer misunderstandings. In every disposition a tendency to some particular thought, everything gets distorted. This f*** in mind.

Even after so many years...! Little seems to be myself, too many interruptions. Wish to take a long nap and wake up back in time – “When everything was so much more beautiful” ...., spinning tops, flying kites, being with friends, whispering to the wandering skies above, feeling the sound of breeze wading through leaves, the morning sun - life all around. “Just simply life”.
