What Happens If You Leave Father & Son Alive and Return as John In Epilogue - RDR2

I found this house naturally without being forced to go here on my first playthrough and I was so impressed with how many different scenarios that could occur. Originally I killed the dad, came back as Arthur to collect the debt and I found him mourning by the water. This game is so insanely detailed. I'm curious to see what the house is like when I come back as John after they are both dead.

what happens if u kill his dad and tell him about the letter from his ma where it implys he could have been lying to his mother about the sons death u have to kill the dad otherwisw u cant tell him but if u do tell him and return whats the alternate wndning

I never killed either of them. But ive antagonized them so much apparently they moved out. All their shit is gone outta the house.

I killed the dad by accident and didn't know that's was the dad or a Homestead that you could rob intill the mission where you go there

The son gets the guilt of what ifs. What if I grabbed a knife and killed him before he killed my dad,what if my dad was alive still would he be different rn ether way you left that kid without answers to his questions and more pain to pile on top of his dads nonsense…. I went back like 3 times and the 2nd time I hogtied dad he wasn't there anymore the son I also hid tied came back house empty

Bruh a prisoner told me about this house so I went to rob it, I killed the father in self defense, took the money in the chimney, I went to the kids room and I picked up the horse cards and he said "no my ma left that for me" then picked up the other and he said "alteast leave me one" I honestly felt bad bro...

Does it change if you beat the father?

I mean he did stab me for peacefully trying to reclaim his debt(which he had btw)

I think this is a mission Strauss sends you to collect. The dad offers you a drink on the table while he gets the money from under the sink. If you refuse the drink and take the box he hands you, the man pulls a knife. But if you take the drink he don't go for the knife and tries to sleeper hold you when you take the drink. I hogtied the dad and looted the place. The son said he had money in his chest. But the real money is in the chimney. But I think you can only get the kid to tell you if you kill his father. There is also a chest outside the house around back under the house. Has a lot of money in there too. If you return as Arthur after the mission you get the father and son arguing but the father hears Arthur and starts opening fire shooting at the wall. The only reason the father did not open fire on John because he didn't get robbed by John, it was Arthur.

When I saw him smack his son I went in with bandit mask, lasso'ed him and dropped him in his son's room.

I left after that, hoping that little scare sobered him up a bit.

You can find a letter the father hid from the son and I showed it to him, he left his father

He was so drunk that he ran straight into the dynamite.
